I will take David's insights anytime and anywhere. One of the few truth tellers who can back up his opinions with eloquence and evidence, as well as historical perspective.
I would guess David Sacks represents the silent minority in Silicon Valley, so his courage is admirable. Not unsurprisingly, San Francisco has many pockets of voters who stay under the radar but are willing to vote for Donald Trump, which is a healthy sign, IMHO.
I like how easy it is for Sacks to use the word "russophobia" which was deliberatly coined and popularized by the Russian state to use in the precisize way "homophobia" "islamophobia" etc are used in the west. Sacks and alikes are such a good soil for that.
The use of hysterics as a kind of counter propaganda is a complete and utter failed strategy for the Left. That it was ever a strategy is confusing to. Maybe I'm ascribing too much agency to leftist politics here so maybe it all just devolved into hysteria for itself. Sometimes it just seems the left only wants problems and not solutions. And hysterical politics does one thing really well, prevent any kind of progress or solution for the sake of hollow self aggrandizing rhetoric that only seem to address some mass ego. Whether it be climate change, environmental issues, housing, to larger political issues like geopolitics, the question of China, Russia, and Arab countries. All these are used insofar as the problem persists and only solution is solution such that no actual resolution is ever achieved. If a solution is proposed it's not a pragmatic one, but precisely one that is entirely impractical and unachievable. Another interesting "alliance" for the left is China and Arab talking points. If the right is "aligned" with Russia then the American left is align with authoritarian regimes like China and Arab talking points.
Its way over simplified to say that 1 out of 3 are Professional Mgmt Class (PMC), "laptop class" Real numbers are almost 2 out of 3 go attend college more then 1 out of 3 attain undergraduate degrees 5 out of 6 college grads go to non selective schools & 1 out of 10 who attend college go to selective elite colleges en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Educational_attainment_in_the_United_States PMC/laptop class is not every college grad or one that attends, its only 1 out of 10 who attend elite schools & the rest are non elite college students
David Sacks is a national treasure.

So anyone who doesn't mindlessly repeat the hate-filled war propaganda in the New York Times is just a "Putin stooge", right?
