Road authorities have job to do the roads needs to be clean, and taking care of the sand on the road

Gambia lacks public garbage cans on every street corner, therefore people throw their garbage straight on the ground🙄

I'll carry my trash until I can throw it away. I refuse to throw trash on the street. I've observed most Africans not attempting to find a bin.

I’m in the Gambia and the trash by the Brikama Daral market is horrible. Stagnant water and muddy side roads all over. Gambians please do better. Keep the environment clean.

Please tell gambians to stop throwing trash on the ground. The sewage systems won't work when it's clogged with trash. I was looking at the new roads with the water canal system under the road which were full of trash. That canal is supposed to help water stay off the roads but with so much trash being thrown on it will cause drainage system to be blocked causing road flooding.

The council is not doing their job . They should clean the sand on the road every early morning it is very shameful you see lots of sand on the roads .

That sand on the side of the road os a great concern the municipality should definitely clean that up let them buy those sweeping cars with brushes to clean the road the Westfield sukuta traffic road is the worse there is sand literally even in the middle of the road.
