    Just got mine yesterday. For $299 it is a great little pistol. As of 10/2020 we are still having Ammo shortage, ( for 9mm), so this little guy is a great way to shoot without going broke. Put ~450 rounds through it out of box with no misfires or misfeeds. Great Video! Learned a ton about the TX. Thanks!!

    I love watching your detail breakdown's. I was a 45 Bravo (Small Arms Repairman) in the Army back in the late 80's. I wish I would of pursued it as a career. I just tinker around with my own firearms.

    My son's striker broke. Are we looking at fabbing our own or do you know the parts number. Taurus is non-responsive.

    Real excited about all the parts on the works for this gun. My little 9 year old boy loves to shot this TX 22 pistol . But would like to upgrade some parts on it . For local steel matches with my little boy . I will be keeping an eye out on the website for those upgrade parts.

    Tarusa is on game, in the the engineering department, what i see , comming down the road, a tx 22mag, and tx 380 and 32acp, and 9mm, with the aluminium slide and steel block, high point, needed to make a slide like that, it better than a block of zinc.

      Ts9 is 9mm, looks the same as tx22

      If you see this in .32 ACP coming down the road you've gone blind.

    Palmetto has them for $259 and Taurus has a $50 rebate on them. Hard to beat that.

    Barrel mount compensator please. I’ve got a Tandemkross compensator mounted on my TX22 and difficult to keep things oriented and tight using o-ring and washer. Tends to rotate loose while firing.

    I have been looking for a good .22 trail gun. Combo toy and pot meat getter, and maybe available for 2 legged varmits. This looks like a fine one, and I suspect that loaded with CCI Velociters, it will at least slow the heathen down until I find a bigger gun . . . Thank you.

    The trigger is like the Bersa BP9CC. I own the Bersa and it’s a nice pistol. Did you ever figure out how to get rid of the mag drop safety on the Bersa?

  • @akclan33
    @akclan33 4 года назад

    I just bought one brand new and the trigger pull is gritty feeling what causes that?

    • @carlhungate2475
      @carlhungate2475 4 года назад

      Try thoroughly cleaning, and lubricating. A dab of moly grease on the trigger bar/striker interface helps as well.

    So the manual safety can’t be removed?

    How well will it function onceyou add the weight of the steel guide rod, rail, and red dot?

    • @GallowayPrecision
      @GallowayPrecision  5 лет назад

      Guide rod weight won't have any real affect because it's a fixed barrel, optic shouldn't be to bad as long as you aren't mounting something ridiculous like and RMR or Delta Point.

    How about a reduced power recoil spring for a comp/suppressor? Mine doesn't cycle properly with a comp, had to take it off.

    • @MrChris-bx7ss
      @MrChris-bx7ss 4 года назад

      compensator or suppressor should make it cycle better, not worse.

  • @KGatLC
    @KGatLC 5 лет назад

    Attach a rail and an optic to the slide. Why would you want it to not cycle properly?

    • @GallowayPrecision
      @GallowayPrecision  5 лет назад

      An optic nor a rail are going to make the slide do anything it shouldn't if you are shooting quality ammunition along with the upgrades.

    • @MrChris-bx7ss
      @MrChris-bx7ss 4 года назад

      @@GallowayPrecision Most people like to shoot the cheap stuff in bulk.
      This is why the cheapos like inexpensive Taurus firearms in the first place.

    Call and text, to, tarusa, about the tx 22. About, making 5.5 and 6inch dropin barrels, and making, 20 , 25, and 30 round magazines, and making a tx22mag, with stamp steel slide or steel slide, because of, bullet pressure, , and down the road, in the design development engineering department, go to make. A 380acp, and 9mm, in the same design, and trigger system and safety, and can get drop in barrel, in 5.5and 6, and some hi capacity magazines, like the tx22, , , look out keltec, tarusa,designed engineering department is on the game, with the new kid on the block, in the design development engineering department, basically we call, the tx 22lr design, baby robor cop pistol, ,and down the road, going to make, a new design of a muzzle break, for the tx22, and other pistols,

    Far too many parts to operate in sync and possibly fail. I'll stick with Glock.
