- SURPRISE! Today I'm revealing AND reviewing the brand new Walmart Exclusive CRYSTAL GRADE series Test & Crash XL-01 ship as part of Mattel's Lightyear 5" scale action figure collection. I love these big ships made for the 5" figures. It reminds me of when I was a kid and you had all the mammoth sized sets for GI Joe and nowhere to put it all lol! I really hope they make the SR-01 for the 5" figures. Great video, thanks.

This is one of those big playsets for basic action figure movie lines, which is an exclusive I really like.

@Dan the Pixar Fan I will agree with the many who say lightyear had cool vehicles, hence the toys, but was a meh movie. I must say that Mattel has made alot for a film (considering it's part of Toy Story) but can also say the quality is decent.

Have you seen the Disney and Pixar Lightyear XL-07 Test Launch and the Disney and Pixar Lightyear Capture & Protect Mission Ship listed on the mattel site? Cant seem to find them any where online
Another great review these 5” scale are epic great with my 3.75” figures . I’m getting the 5” armadillo vehicle for my Star Wars figures

This looks great! Much better for the price than xl-15 I think, while that one does have the rocket wings that work with all the buzz figures I find them to be too big and inferior to the mission equipped ones, and the buzz included with that one is so bare bones I really don't need it.

I was able to find one at Walmart for like $32 just a couple days ago. I love it lol, I was also able to pick up the same size XL15. I'm glad I got them, now I just gotta keep my son from stealing them 😁.

i have the XL-15 & Buzz Lightyear by IMAGINEXT. But I want a ship from the 5" line. Is this the only ship, other than XL-15, in the 5" line?
When are we gonna see reviews on the other 2 ships? The XL-07's been out a while.

Very cool. I'm still praying we get more hyperspeed ships that's my absolute favorite part of the toy line.
If anything they at least need to do a hyperspeed version of the final ship seen in the film!

@@DanthePixarFanI had to get a friend to bring me the XL01 from the States as never released in the uk nor was the red Zyclops packs, but never saw the XL07 reviewed. It was released in the UK and is one of my favourite ships. Just asking, still watch your clips with my boy. Thanks

The ship looks amazing. I really like the crystals, but it’s kind of a bummer they used a 2D one.
It’s true- but at least there are the 3D ones that come with the other figures and they fit into the ship!
Really nice, even though the wings are a bit stumpy.

Oils this possibly fit a GI Joe classified figure?
Hmmm I’m not sure! I don’t have any to test out. But I will say, the tallest figure I fit in here as part of this line is Mo (about 5.5” tall) and he *just* fits. I feel any taller than that won’t work, but wouldn’t hurt to try! Maybe one could squeeze in?
On the other ship I can fit my gi Joe's. This one looks like it has more room so I would say you can with not much effort.
