1 year on and no recent news in the headlines. I want my kids and yours to experience the joy of our own amusement park in the west. It truly was a great day out.
I don't like water parks but to see a new fun park (similar to Wonderland) back in Sydney would be great. I would be there in the first few weeks (preferably on a less crowded day). :)
YES ! YES! YES! Bring it back! This is such good news! Will it be in the original spot? ...Bush beasty making a comeback! yesssssssssssss! I love Australia's Wonderland.. I have since I was 5 years old :)
I think it would be a real mistake to just put back bush beast mk II etc back in the park because of some romantic notion people have of the past. Those rides were state of the art back in 1985. We need the best roller coasters of TODAY, ones that are in six flags theme parks in the US. Do a google search on Top 10 roller coasters in the US. We want state of the art rides now we are not living in 1985
+jigsterify I think they will add elements of today rides (such as 6 flags in the US or fujiQ in japan) and combine it with past ideas. Let hope something comes out from it, Sydney can do better in tourist money, sure we have harbor and good beaches, but its need more
+jigsterify You could always do a combination of old and new rides. I like old rides and your bush back is very similar to our wild beast at Canada's wonderland. Whenever I go to the Cdn version I still ride that old coaster.
Hi. I live the US near Six Flags of America and go to Six flags great Adventure in New Jersey the Kingda ka is an amazing ride. Its the tallest and fastest in the world. ...
In all honesty the Bush Beast was pretty crap. It only had two steep drops. If we ever get Wonderland back there should be a genuinely big roller coaster - the type they have in America.
This so bring back memories that was the best amusement park i have ever been to and i have been there on two occasions i so miss wonderland sydney when it come back soon i would like to go there again and I can't wait for Sydney's Wonderland to return in the future and I can't wait for it
HOLY CRAP! I think I just came in my pants! Wonderland was the best thing ever and I was really sad when it closed! So glad they are bringing it back! :D
One of the reasons why the theme parks still thrive on the Gold Coast and not Sydney is the weather. Sydney's weather is too unpredictable and too cold in winter.
My dad and pop and my Uncle went to wonderland before we need it BACK 😢
I’ve never been to wonderland, so yes 5 yrs later pls bring it back

i remember going their as a kid in 1996 and then in 1998.
Dreamworld..... lunar park got nothing on wonderland ITS WONDERLAND man i miss it so much greatest place assured please bring it back
Australian parks are not as good as the US and Europe theme parks.
@@jamesklatt yeah I agree American theme parks are bigger and have better rides.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have something similar back in the area. It would be nice to see a proper wooden rollercoaster back in Australia.
I would love to go to wonderland if it reopens
Yess bring it back. Thats ppls childhood!! Aww i love that theme park. ❤❤💞
Was this a sister park to Canada's Wonderland?
It sure was!
Where's the thumbnail bit?
I went there when i was 6 years old i loved the wonderland to come back
BRING IT BACK!!!!!!
YES!! bring it back
all we got is Luna Park it's so boring now
Sydney needs Wonderland again !!!
Sydney needs more Jenny's :P
Sydney needs a new Wonderland so we don’t have to fly up to the Gold Coast.
this was the best park in all of australia.
David Peric I agree best Theme Park In Sydney
Sad 😞 😔😢
Hopefully it happens and they can replicate the atmosphere that it had, that olden time colonial kinda feel. Fuck I loved it there.
that's so sad....its looked so wonderful
where will they build it
i think blacktown
build next to wet n wild, and have a season pass together. generate more money
Genius! :)
Jimmy Christian Absolutely
Guess it will never happen now :(
Hopefully now it'll happen with the western sydney airport officially being built
so much fun :( i'll miss it
It would cost a lot more now to build anything close to its size. Land values and construction costs are much higher than say 1986

Go you good thing!

If they don't hurry up I will set up a go fund me for wonderland
I love theme parks but sadly Sydney doesn't have any good ones so this awesome
Unfortunately Australia doesn't have the population size to make it attractive to foreign investors.
Bring it back!
Still waiting.
I miss the 80’s, when australia was Australian
Unfortunately wonderland was never brought back and now its 2021
Hopefully now it'll come with the western sydney Airport officially being built
3 years later..where is Wonderland? I still want it back
Not gonna happen. All you are hearing is false hope
It would be great if it did happen. Oh well 😕
2021 according to an article I read.
It's a proposal. Could take years. They have to get the funds for it and all the approvals etc
Bring back wonderland!!
Human Stop aging older. 😢
Guess this went nowhere
Bring it back!!!!
