I am a Baptised Oriental Orthodox since 2019 after living 28 years as an Eastern Orthodox wife of a Priest, and I made my decision to join the most ancient practise of the Church after careful reading of Christine's work and other documents such as the Agreed Upon Statements between both Churches. I carry some of these small books with me wherever I go to demonstrate to other very skeptical orthodox that I didn't become Oriental Orthodox just because I love "underdogs" or wanted "a more exotic faith" or wanted to "rebel against Eastern Orthodoxy." I can whole heartedly testify that my Triple Immersion Baptism (a baptism I had never had before in my 50 years of life, due to modernism ) has literally saved me from demonic interference in my life, and continues to slowly save me each year from various forms of illnesses. Oriental Orthodox (Coptic) Baptism alows me to rejoice that from the grave my husband keeps his Eastern Orthodox Holy Orders and prays and uplifts me and the Eastern Orthodox while pray and seek to uplift him and also the Oriental Orthodox Churches. My husband and I are united beyond the grave for the sake of the salvation of the bride of Christ, the entire Orthodox Christian Church!
