If your 1893 proof was cleaned it was well done. From what I see there is a definite contrast between the field and the the rest of the coin. Beautiful nonetheless.
Awesome video and I think the proof ones will come back altered surface details and are bar none the coolest coins I have ever seen on youtube raw without a slab getting in the way. Cant wait to see the results video when you get them back.
Loved the video. I wish I could fast forward to the day you receive the submission and make that video. Can't wait to see the results. Keep up the good work. It is appreciated!
Those are some beautiful coins. I learned quite a bit from watching and listening to you talk about them. Can’t hardly wait to see what PCGS does with the grades. Chuck
Daniel: Amazingly, I agreed with everyone one of your grades. Thanks to your videos, I just keep getting better and better at doing a visual of a coin (especially Morgans) and guessing the grades. Thanks so much for sharing this and I can hardly wait to see what PCGS does with these (and how long it takes them to get to them). Cheers.
Daniel you are the man! You know your Morgan's. Whatever the graders say I believe your assessments are valid. I'm rooting for you, can't wait for the follow up video.I hope your Dad is doing well, say hello for me .
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to work through each coin and describe your findings. Very interested to see in the coming months what the grading company came up with versus your assessments.
Beautiful coins, all of them. As much as I like the character of the F and VG's, that 94 was simply stunning. I thought you wouldn't top the 93, but, wow. I hope you get the PF Cam. That coin is amazing! good video!
My favourite kind of video. We were pretty close on grading. I had the '81 as MS63+, It's difficult to see some surface details by video. Your lighting is superb.
Great video Daniel ! I'm a Morgan man also and think I'm a good grader but you are much better at identifying cleaned coins than I ever was . Agreed on your opinion on the gradable ones but a couple could upgrade . I have never learned more about grading than your videos !!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I've been trying to get better at grading so this was very helpful. I guessed the same grade on a good amount of these. Otherwise I was a grade off. Just recently bought my first three slabbed Morgan's.
I agree with your grading on about 96% of these - only 2 or 3 I think were just a little bit lower grades. So fun! Can't wait to see the results from the grading company!
Know that was a sweet video such a nice selection to see!!! Daniel.. 💯 5 ⭐ Please keep making more videos..U put a smile on my face... I live in Florida I hope to meet u one day!!! 💫
That was exciting !!! I thought a few of them would be graded higher , but i don't kow nothing JUST WISHFUL THINKING . Looking forward to seeing the results
Regardless if the proofs come back as detail coins, to me they are stunning! Thanks for the opportunity of seeing some very rare and beautiful Morgan dollars. I believe you're going to do very well with this submission. Good luck!👍🇺🇸
Thanks Daniel ! LOVE this pre-submission grading and can not wait for the results ! I took your 25 minute video and turned it into 1.5hrs. lol While it is almost impossible to do it via video, I graded with you. Coin in hand like you had the ability to do is THE way to look for a grade. For the 24 coins, I agree on 13, I graded higher on 6 then you and graded 5 lower then you. My grades either way if I didn't agree were +1 or -1..no big deviance. The 1889-O though..I am teetering but ended up agreeing with you. I see what you are saying on the proofs. Now if I can stash the list away so I can find it in a few months. FUN STUFF !!!
Thanks for another video. I have some coins I want to send off to get graded that I want to grade myself to see how close I can get before sending them. I enjoy this type of content as it is educational and helps collectors.
Wow! What a delight to see these amazing coins. Will probably never even see images like this again, for sure I'll never own any like these. Thanks for posting this vid. I wonder if the 1889 cc will come back in a body bag?
Hi Daniel, Excellent, instructive video. I would certainly like to watch the video after the shipment is returned. However, I understand that the time cycles are rather extended and unpredictable. JM
What book were you looking at with the pictures of the grading? Thanks so much. I have a lot of coins I’ve collected over the last few years, and just started really learning about them. I’ve been getting a lot of information from you. Appreciate all that you share.
Hey Daniel…when you were grading the coins the 1890-CC showed a flash of hairlines on the reverse one of the times you spun it around. May want to check closer.
Hey Daniel I watch all your videos your helped me quite a bit over the years what's that book your using to grade them I'm trying to learn more about grading cause the times I've sent my coins to Anacs the results weren't ones I was happy with lol. Thanks again
This was so awesome I love watching your videos please keep doing them. I'm in the middle of going through thousands and thousands of coins with a Digital microscope. Out of thousands and thousands of coins I've only found a few errors. I'm hoping to come visit you when weather is good and see what you think
You’re more than welcome to come visit but please don’t bring potential error coins for me to look at. I don’t offer that service in my shop, I have the coinhelpu community for that. Thanks!
I agree with having the coins in hand to have a better assessment on a coin grade. I was privileged to view this set and was impressed with how the key dates were preserved. I will probably never own a proof Morgan much less an 1894, but I can say that ive seen one, ungraded. To view a proof Morgan dollar was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I'm sure whatever grade it comes back, the owner of that coin will hold something seriously rare. Challenge someone to find another one, so cool 😎.
It helps that the CC values are pretty flat for those grades. Other dates can be different. For example, the 1884-S is $1100 in AU55, $3300 in 58, $12K in MS60, and $52K(!) in 63. Dealers have a great incentive to crack out those coins multiple times and resubmit them, and then end up with a low-end coin for the grade. A CAC sticker might be a necessity for a slab like that.
I never knew PCGS and NGC didn't use gloves. That's great info because I always hear dealers say you should always use gloves...which I never understood because the glove can have stuff on it you dont want on the coin. Gloves also encourage touching the surfaces and fields of a coin which you should never do. Imagine getting things on the field of a nice coin from crap on the glove. Tragic lol
As someone who has collected a long time I think you did very well. I hope you don’t get one of the graders who likes to type “Damaged” on the 89-CC. Very nice coins. I look forward to the results in a few weeks, months, hopefully not years. Good luck.
Have you seen genuine examples where the stars on the "Head" side of a Morgan coin appear to be a bit more rounded? Strangely the dimensions and weights all align to 0.900 silver on mine and it almost look uncirculated. 1896 and 1890. They are pretty common years. I'm no expert on them. Tbh, I bought them many years ago when I first started in the hobby, and ordinarily I wouldn't buy those types of coins now.
I own a proof only 1895. Have owned it since 1973. No, never have sent it in to be graded. I am a coward! Appears to have no trace of circulation. Does have some hairlines. Just take a look at the difference in price between Prf.60 and a 66! What really scares me is what if it comes back in less than a proof 60? I bought it from a collector who found it in a roll back in the '50s. It's the only proof $ that I have ever owned. Daniel would be able to grade it I am sure. That sure is a nice group of Morgan's!
daniel, those proofs aren't problem coins! I buy graded proofs all the time. Most of them have a number of faint hairlines unless they are PR66 or greater. Im praying for your proofs to get in a correct holder!

Good luck
I might need to take a road trip to your shop. Can you recommend a shop in Alabama,
Anyone ever notice how enthusiastic Daniel gets when he's playing with his toys ? Good vid Daniel 👍
It means when it came down to deciding how to make a living he chose correctly. God knows I didn’t.
Those proof Morgans look fantastic. Impaired or not, they still are desirable. Great video and looking forward to see the results!
I just love it anytime you feature Morgans. Your guidance is much appreciated, Daniel.
Awesome video and I think the proof ones will come back altered surface details and are bar none the coolest coins I have ever seen on youtube raw without a slab getting in the way. Cant wait to see the results video when you get them back.
Wow! That 1894 Morgan is a stunner! Beautiful coin! Nice set!!!
Loved the video. I wish I could fast forward to the day you receive the submission and make that video. Can't wait to see the results. Keep up the good work. It is appreciated!
Thx Dan😊
Absolutely LOVE this video sir! So WELL done! Hope all is the best. WOW!!! & THANK YOU!!!from the Sunflower State.
Daniel. You did amazing. Loved this video. Can't wait for video of results. Learning soooo much from you.
Those are some beautiful coins. I learned quite a bit from watching and listening to you talk about them. Can’t hardly wait to see what PCGS does with the grades. Chuck
I sure like those 93 and 94 Proofs.....really nice.
Thank you! Great video! Can't wait to see the returns!
Daniel: Amazingly, I agreed with everyone one of your grades. Thanks to your videos, I just keep getting better and better at doing a visual of a coin (especially Morgans) and guessing the grades. Few on your list.... will come back details.... looking forward to compare when they come back.... cool deal daniel
Daniel you are the man! You know your Morgan's. Whatever the graders say I believe your assessments are valid. I'm rooting for you, can't wait for the follow up video.I hope your Dad is doing well, say hello for me .
Loving this video to the MAX!!!❤
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to work through each coin and describe your findings. Very interested to see in the coming months what the grading company came up with versus your assessments.
Did I enjoy this video….. I friggin Loved it! Feel in love with those proof Morgan’s can’t wait for the grading results!
Peace 😀👍
This was great, thanks! As you were showing them I was looking at mine
Beautiful coins, all of them. As much as I like the character of the F and VG's, that 94 was simply stunning. I thought you wouldn't top the 93, but, wow. I hope you get the PF Cam. That coin is amazing! good video!
the 1894 proof coin has only 972 mintage.
@@gcbranger1189 😳. 🤑
Thanks for that info.
Yay it’s Daniel 🤗 I love your videos

Thanks for a VERY informative video, Daniel 🥰
this was a tremendous video one of the best you've done Daniel.
I can’t wait for the results. Cool double feature
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I've been trying to get better at grading so this was very helpful. I guessed the same grade on a good amount of these. Otherwise I was a grade off. Just recently bought my first three slabbed Morgan's.
Hello B2 I hope you are doing well

wicked video! One of your best!
A dazzling array of Morgan dollars Daniel. Hopeful the two PL Morgan dollars get the grade you seek. Excited to see the results. Cheers.
Great video Daniel
love this video too. nice set of morgans overall. the 1893, 792 mintage and the 1894, 972 mintage are very nice.
WOW that is an amazing set of coins. Good luck.
that was the best video on explaining grades and marks cant wait to see the results beautiful group of morgans
Great idea for a video!! Thanks, my guy!!
These videos are fun and informative. Thanks!
Wow, regardless of what grades they get, those are some beautiful Morgan's Daniel 👍
This is great! Thank you for helping us learn. This is were I struggle….. should I sent a coin in for submission….. or shouldn’t I. Great Video
great! grading my favorite coin subject. thx *Rox
Good luck Daniel. Your usually pretty spot on. When you get them back maybe you'll know if you should start your own grading service.
That was exciting !!! I thought a few of them would be graded higher , but i don't kow nothing JUST WISHFUL THINKING . Looking forward to seeing the results
I love it! Bare hands is right. Dropped 0 bear handed, on rims and it doesn't hurt.
Good luck! D.
Regardless if the proofs come back as detail coins, to me they are stunning!

Tremendous Morgans Daniel!! Thanks for sharing!!
That was fun to play along with!!
Good video. Learning about pcgs, the coin grading and auction process now.
Preparing to to send some coins soon.
Thanks for another video. I have some coins I want to send off to get graded that I want to grade myself to see how close I can get before sending them.
I enjoy this type of content as it is educational and helps collectors.
I wanted to add that I generally use dawn dish detergent to clean my hands before handling coins.
I agree with your grades.
As in the 'old school' B&D grading system days, most of those CCs and several others would have been 'Choice Unc'.
Amazing Morgan’s. Where’s the result video? Thanks.
Awesome class! I Love Morgan's also! Have a greater day 2morrow!
Good idea…. I am going to send some coins in too soon…
Wow! What a delight to see these amazing coins. Will probably never even see images like this again, for sure I'll never own any like these. Thanks for posting this vid. I wonder if the 1889 cc will come back in a body bag?
No, Genuine Details grade.
Thank you...!!!

Hi Daniel, I remember watching this video a year ago - or so. Did you ever publish the PCGS results video? I'd love to see that.
This was so awesome I love watching your videos please keep doing them. I'm in the middle of going through thousands and thousands of coins with a Digital microscope. Hello from the great state of Michigan
Drum roll for the proofs! 🥁
It helps that the CC values are pretty flat for those grades. Other dates can be different. For example, the 1884-S is $1100 in AU55, $3300 in 58, $12K in MS60, and $52K(!) in 63. The 89CC looks like it has some damage on the rim. Definitely will come back a detail coin.
Tragic lol
Exactly
I learned a lot watching this. Thanks!
Those proof Morgan's were beautiful. I wonder what you will get for those
I think there is a couple of coins that may grade a bit higher just my thoughts it will be interesting to see results
As someone who has collected a long time I think you did very well. I hope you don’t get one of the graders who likes to type “Damaged” on the 89-CC. Very nice coins. I look forward to the results in a few weeks, months, hopefully not years. Good luck.
I've seen a lot of old proof coins still get straight grades even though its obvious they have been cleaned.
Very very nice run of Morgan's. Should send to both PCGS/NGC & Send each one back to the highest graded from.
They would be tied up for a year or I would.
PERFECT
Sad that it will be summer before we see them again. 😊
Love it. Enjoy picking a knowledgeable brain.
Could you do a garaging video like this but on Indian head cents as it’s very confusing to understand some of pcgs grading discussions
I don’t have Indian cents to submit. I have many other videos in grading coins.
Beautiful coins! How much did you pay for them how much they worth after grading?!
Whats roughly would a 1909 s vdb m63bn would cost
Look them up at the price guides of the company it’s graded by.
I love those proofs!
What is the book you were looking at?
Making the grade by Coin World
@@CoinHELPu Thank you
I wish for the best grades!
That '94 is awesome 👌
hey how was the results from PCGS?
Yes, I’m looking for the part 2 but see no update. Any following video of these coins?
Be nice to have someone else in the grading business maybe it could get quicker turnaround I'm sure you can do it keep up the good work thanks 👍👌
Oh man….that’s a heckuva list.
I think you’re right on the F12
I really like that 81-cc
I think the 85-S is an MS63
I agree on the 89-O
No grade…rim damage on the 89-CC
I honestly think you're a bit conservative… Some of those CC's with the semi PL surfaces, they are beautiful.
Tbh, I bought them many years ago when I first started in the hobby, and ordinarily I wouldn't buy those types of coins now.
great video but no gloves?
I explain this in detail in this video.
Well I'd love to own a proof even if it's details those coins are beautiful. ☺️👍
