I sent this to my son and his wife just after it was aired... It's like it was wrote for them. One year later his life was turned around and he now serves the homeless in our town and has a street ministry. Thankfully my DIL never have up on him. 💞
This isn’t a gospel song but I feel so connected to Jesus while listening, feeling heard and loved, bless you all

Can someone who knows guitar tell me what chord he's playing at 0:06? I've noticed he plays this chord a lot, and when I try to play his songs, I always have to replace this chord with something else.
drop 'D' tuning on the 6th string (low E String). that chord is essentially a partial G7 chord, with the ring finger on the drop D, 5th fret, and the pointer finger on both the 1st & 2nd string (E & B), 3rd fret. the progression is D -G7-A, with a Bm as the variant to the D.
