Another one of the great 60's groups. They started out as "The Young Rascals" but later were just known as "The Rascals". They were considered rock & blue-eyed soul. They had a lot of hits such as "Groovin'", "I Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore", "You Better Run", "I've Been Lonely Too Long", "Good Lovin'", "People Got To Be Free", "A Beautiful Morning", "A Girl Like You", "It's Wonderful" etc.
This is when music was good and people had talent. So glad I grew up during this time 💜
The great Eddy Brigatti killed it. Such a beautiful voice and song. Felix Cavaliere usually takes lead a truly great singer also. Their in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and surely deserve to be there.

Eddie Brigati with the beautiful lead vocal. Most of their songs were sung by Felix Cavaliere (the keyboard player who wrote most of their songs as well). This one spotlighted Eddie.

The Rascals had so many great hits in the 60’s. Good Lovin’ is my favorite. They are the epitome of blue eyed soul.

LOL JAYY, you reacted to this like I did, the first time I heard "How Can I be Sure" when it first came out in '67. I love the Rascals (Young Rascals) and all their songs, but for me THIS was my FAVORITE one of theirs. Check out their other songs that others have listed below. I KNOW you will like them TOO, especially "GROOVIN'" that one has a lot of nice memories for me back then.

Fabulous New Jersey band mostly Italian Americans. Fun fact , they were the first AMERICAN band to refuse to play in front of a segregated audience . The drummer recently died .

Always LOVED this song since it came out! I still sing along with it! It was "blue eyed soul"...if I'm not mistaken, I think they were Detroit, I'm not sure. They may have been from Jersey. Excellent band!!

Another band you might like is called Blue Mink and some of there songs ( Our World / Melting Pot / Banner Man / Good Morning Freedom )
This sounds different because the lead is the great Eddy Brigatti usually Felix Cavaliere another great singer takes lead. Their in the Rock n Roll hall of Fame and surely deserve to be. Many more very good songs. A Beautiful Morning, Groovin, Ive been Lonely too Long A Beautiful Morning
