Josh Liendo Just Gets Faster and FASTER

- Published on Feb 14, 2026
- I said numerous times during the 2025 Swimming World Cup that Josh Liendo would likely get faster and faster as the stops went on but I NEVER would have guessed that he would have gotten THIS much faster at the final stop.

most unexpected world record this meet ngl
Kate Douglass’s 100 free
I suppose that depends on how you define “this meet” if it’s just the Toronto stop I think it’s Liendo, but if you mean the entire World Cup series then I’d probably flip over to Douglass
@TheSwimScribe didn't she break 50 seconds in this stop? I thought westmont was amazing and super suprised me and I thought no way she could go faster and then she did. Not taking anything away from Liendo but for me, she is both the most suprising of this meet and the whole world up.
This dude is literally the Canadian Caeleb dressel
josh in the toronto pool isnt fair, he went godmode.
So begins the slew of world record videos
BRING IT, SCRIBE
Redemption from those swims in Singapore for and Kharun, 100 fly and 200 fly at NCAAs is now my most hyped event
100 fly ncaa record should have fell last year tbh, it's on borrowed time now
You missed Jordan Crooks (44.95 in Budapest 2024) from your men’s 100free top 10 performers rankings
Flo Manadou just left out on the mens 50 free all time performers, poor man.
Nice record but once again you overlooked our Frenchies by forgetting Manaudou’s 20.26 at 2:31
I knew there was something odd in that list, thx for pointing it out! 💪🏼
Apparently that swim just does not show up in the USA Swimming database (which is where I get those rankings) that is a very strange miss.
Lol it was the world record before Dressel also😂
