    so...two years later and i finally edited out the loud squeaks on RUclips editor, i obviously had way too much faith in their software because it has now created an audio lag in the last 5 minutes. kind of counting on everyone being asleep by then. hopefully this is an improvement.

    I've been watching this video nearly every day ever since I found it, but hadn't commented yet. So before I pass out, I just want to say: this is my favorite cranial nerve exam. Hands down. I love your style, you get up close to the camera and really seem to provide personal attention (which is my number one trigger). On top of that you've got such a lovely voice. I really hope you make a lot more videos :)

    • @rintohsaka1928
      @rintohsaka1928 6 лет назад +142

      There's no such thing as a single "cranial nerve"
      It's just a term to bundle each individual nerve on the head and neck together and this test is done for diagnosing and checking progress on concussions or degenerative diseases. There now I better not see another comment like this from you or I'll tie you to a chair and give you a full 6 hour lecture on biology.

      I had a weird health thing where I'd suddenly go blind in one eye, and then get a raging headache on the opposite side of my head, and the ER doctor did a lot of the same tests as these cranial nerve roleplays :D No scent/taste stuff, but she wanted to make sure I was experiencing facial symmetry (i.e: she can touch both my cheeks and I feel it the same way), and that my eyes could track objects and focus correctly. Honestly, it was so cool to get the real procedure ^^;

    There’s something about your up close examinations that’s very relaxing. Could you do an asmr where you’re just examining something up close and messing with it slightly, like you did with the facial muscle part? Art, furniture, anything really, the way you do it is lovely. I’ve just discovered you and you’re already one of my faves!

    I came back to this video at least once a week just to the face tucking part. And sometimes the eye part. But your personal attention are the best. I wish you cold make a 20 minutes video just checking the face and the neck-shoulder

    You’ve got a great professional demeanour, you should do a full eye test video with lots of torch stuff, close eye examination, pupil dilation checks etc. Really enjoyed this.

      Kougeru That really means a lot. I watch a lot of ASMR including the larger ones and find that the smaller channels with less subscribers/views often do more for me than any of the others. Thank you!

    Good job, instant addition to my favorites list.
    Well articulated without becoming too loud on the consonants, professional and with good ambient sounds, awesome use of pencil.
    Try to avoid the loud "squeeking" noises (might be the gloves) next time as the subtract from the experience.
    All around good job, feel proud of your creation and a warm greeting from Sweden!

    This may just be the best cranial nerve examination I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot- let me tell you. Most specially because I had to have one after getting a violent concussion and this was the most accurate one based on memory and experience. Stellar job! Definitely subscribing and favoriting this.
