When I was stationed at Hellenikon Air Base in Ano Glyfada, Attica, Athens Greece between 1983 to 1988... I use to take one of the Olympia 20-minute flights to Mykonos once every 3 to 6 months for a short break. The Night Clubs and Bars were so alive in the 1980's as well as the Artist (Singers) at that time also would come to Mykonos and we could always get them to perform. It was very nice there.
