Very good project, can't wait to see it move forward. Transforming the ground navmeshes into heightmaps was a very good idea. It seems you haven't implemented yet the walk by clicking on the sky thing, only walking by clicking on the ground, which reminds me a lot of the early emulators such as SREMU :D I will be following this project, keep your work up!

This is really impressive stuff. I used to do pk2 editing back in the day and I had no coding experience but now I'm a computer programmer! I still have no idea how people have managed to reverse engineer some of this stuff to the point that you can recreate it in unreal 5. I don't even know if you remember cruor, perrytje or Jan? They all helped and made early tools for SRO modding community's. The video appears to show some tearing and seems to drop frames. Do you know why that is? Also I love the strange foot physics outside the bandit den at the end. 😉
The company/devs of Silkroad should hire you guys to re-make the game...then release it as multiplayer and all of u getting super rich...while players could enjoy the new silkroad
