The last time I saw this "cell phone charger" it was done with a 9v battery, also, like this, it was done with no kind of voltage regulator. Good job, after a minute, the charge in the battery pack would be too low to charge the phone and you haven't even got the phone turned on. Actually, it's too low to begin with, a cell phone requires 4.8v to charge, this is only 4.5, so if it will do anything, you might get 20 seconds charge out of it before it stops charging and just drains the battery pack for nothing.
That 4.5V charger might work for a few minutes, but as soon as the voltage starts going down, it becomes inadequate for charging, wasting approx. 90% of the available energy (gross evaluation). If you need a battery powered charger, order a 3-5V to 5V USB booster from ebay and solder the 4.5V battery holder to the input. It then outputs steady 5V until the battery voltage dips below 3 volts. Most phones won't recognize the 4.5 volts anyways, it depends on the model. All phones usually require 5 volts to recharge.
When did the term "life hack" devolve into "here's some useless shit I made with hot glue and tape"? All of these are shit. 1- Those batteries will not charge your phone for long, and with the amount of materials used, you could've bought a wall charger. 2- So this is a shitty projector mod. And the image quality looks like shit, also; as is true with every projector I've ever seen. Idk why people even still want projectors. 3- Totally useless, it's not like using the phone's screen is difficult. And now you have this weird looking thing sticking out of your phone. 4- Also useless, buy a universal remote. Or just find one in the wild. They're everywhere. 5- You didn't even say what this does. I'm assuming it charged your battery. However, if you have a working freezer then you also have a working wall outlet. Useless.
Dude life hacks is for someone that can't afford gadgets bro. I dunno why you would even watch this video if it's clear you ballin man. That's weird or no that's cheap. Criticism should be constructive what you said so well is hating, why don't you do a better video and quit spreading negative comments. So yeah well said for someone that doesn't have a life and as yet to show hacking knowledge. Smart ass farts, that all.
Patricio Abello he actually points out that it would be cheaper not to do these "hacks" as the cost of the material used is more than just buying the item they tried to replicate
what power will a jack phone offer? so i know what led should i buy and how many and etc? also you could have used shrink wrap tubing instead of that hotglue and tape combo...will look nicer

😎Just clear my one doubt.. Is melted glue from Glue Gun is that strong as u've shown or there r diff types of Glue Sticks available with diff adhesion properties.. 🤔🤔asking coz my experience with glue sticks is not that good as it creates very weak bond.. Plz clear this doubt.. Thanku👍 Also suggest some Glue type able to create almost permanent bond..😎
11:07 why the IR did not blink? I know its invisible through the naked eye but with the camera recorded it must blink. Does your camera does not support infrared light? Or its a fake?
Lol the first one isn't going to last very long, EEVBlog recently tested an electronic load test with an AA battery and it showed even the high power enelop batteries couldn't do 1A for more than 15 mins(and it will essentially kill your battery quickly) so good luck with the 250mAh your getting out of that battery pack.
This is the first time I've actually read the comment thread on a RUclips video. I wasn't sure what the battery in the freezer did exactly... Wow. The dude giving you s#:t needs to go up stairs n ask his mommy for a hug... It's a cool video. Keep up the good work.
three AA batteries would only put out 4.5 volt give or take, your USB port puts out about five, this would be enough to put a charge on your device but most likely not fully.
a single AAA battery typically holds around 750mAh (they are AAA not double) so 3 batteries would give you about 2250mAh. my galaxy s6 has a battery that is 2550mAh capacity so it could just about charge it ON PAPER (BUT output of the batteries drops as they discharge) typical output drain of a AAA battery is around 10mA so would take about 255 hours to charge :) they are designed for low power non continuous drain (like a remote control for instance where it's basically lighting an LED for a second at a time) it simply can't put the power out fast enough to charge a phone efficiently. not worth the time to build tbh. (as are all things in this vid) most modern smart phones have IR built in so no need to build crazy looking dual led gizmos to use a remote app. (pretty sure the phone in this vid has built in IR so this gizmo probably isn't even doing anything) the click switch thing is also daft.... why press a shoddy button hanging out your phone when the touch screen is right there? and the battery in the freezer thing i just don't understand.
Projector was awesome but i didn't get, why 3rd point was a life Hack? Putting additional button on 3.5 mm jack to operate torch and camera click, user could use mobiles features for that. Was that not easy to operate?
I used the first one for my 3ds here is how you do it. First cut off the wall charger side than soldeir the 3ds plug to the battery pack. Make sure the battery pack holds 4--6 batteries. Lastly put the batteries inside and plug it to your 3ds. I might make a video on how to do it next summer.
I'm fairly sure the last one is a battery repair guide... for old batteries that go flat real fast.. but he doesn't explain that... I'm not sure if it works or not, I remember RC vehicle people talking about it ages ago.
For emergency charger that uses AA or AAA or D or whatever 1.5v cells, don't try to use just three and a buck converter. Unneccesarily complicated. just use four or more cells and a regulator. You can get one mounted on a complete circuit board for a couple bucks. Or roll yer own from a 7805 TO-220 style 3 leg IC which has been around since I think the late 70's and is time tested technology with plenty of application notes and published DIY projects. You need a couple capacitors and resistors to finish the circuit and a 1a fuse and a small heat sink for the IC and Bob's yer uncle. You can also use some battery charger / jumper cable clamps to feed the regulator, and charge directly from a car battery. Clip up to a cig lighter plug and you can charge from a cigarette lighter socket. All this stuff is simply a nonproductive exercise in making something, since ready made mass produced gear that does the same job is readily available for peanuts. You can get "jump starter" power supplies meant for starting your car with a dead battery that will keep your phone charged for a couple of weeks. These are cool to walk around with and power your tablet or chromebook. A motorcycle or lawnmower battery and a TO-220 package adjustable regulator (see the Mouser catalog) and you can power your laptop once you have your output voltage adjusted properly. You may need a boost converter to supply the adjustable regulator. Or additionally install a 7805 or a complete regulator board and a USB port so you can run your laptop and your phone from the same power source. But why stop there? A shopping cart will easily hold an 8D size lead acid 12v deep cycle battery (about 160lb) and charger. You can wheel this around for a month without stopping to charge. And how about a canopy and a couple of 300w solar panels and a MMPT charge controller? You could even motorize your shopping cart with that much juice, and sleep in the shade of the panels, which are quite large. You could make a few bucks in parking lots jump starting dead cars, or even towing them. Add an inverter for portable 110VAC or 220VAC portable power. The point is, nah. this is a pretty useless hack that serves no particular need that is not already better and cheaplier met with off the shelf stuff from the little jar next to the checkout counter at Walgreen's. I so hate it when people post vids like this to show how clever they are at "designing" something that works about half as good as something already available that costs half as much already made. Why bother? Anybody can figure out better ways to do these things if they just HAVE to DIY it for some reason. Please, don't bother posting a video unless it is useful or at least entertaining or informational. I have to thumb down on this one. Meh.
U know. Instead of buying battery's and doing all that stuff with the cables and battery packs... You could just use a one of payment on £5 and get a portable charger... U know instead of paying £5 every few days for new batterys

Which type of lens was that,u used in projector? Concave or Convex?
Convex

Wow!!! 😊😀😁 amazing! I like this video
#1 NOT RECOMENDED....ITS INCOMPLETE AND NEED A REGULATOR....
3 AA batteries make 4.5v, you dont need a regulator
You need because battery voltage will drop overtime so at the end you will get less than 4 volts at the output but batteries may not be dead yet
Needs a boost converter in the circuit to bump it up to 5 volts. You can pick up 5 of them from Amazon for ten bucks.

Number 1 is very good its a very nice life hack. [ITS THE BEST LIFE HACK I EVER SEEN]😍
Hi. Why did you put the phone battery in the freezer? Is it to refresh it before charging?
Why not use the other end of the OTG cable you cut up instead and plug it into phone directly without having to carry a usb charging cord?
11:07 why the IR did not blink? I know its invisible through the naked eye but with the camera recorded it must blink. Does your camera does not support infrared light? Or its a fake?
Finally! a life hack video showing things that actually make life easier!!
Not a hater but 9:51 that glue gun did no want to touch the light hahahahahahaha
0:30 Oh boy, I know where this is going. No voltage regulator in sight either.
3 cells of 1.5 volt each = 4.5 volts
Oh 0.5 volts less
And battery is going to die soon these "life hacks" are cursed
Great idea
When I was five (5) I built a projector like this... with moveable lens!
Of course my brother made one before I did.. I learned..... LOL
How to
ग़ज़ब यार,peel रिमोट के लिए किस2 टर्मिनल पे जोड़े और led के कौन2 सी टांग को आपस मे जोड़ना है
Man you're awesome. How did you learnt that all
I HAVE A QUESTION: why for the remote control you took 2 peaces and not just one?

The first one is a guide on how to permanently fuck up your battery.
Not at all. The voltage is too low to even charge the phone. It wouldn't hurt it.
three AA batteries would only put out 4.5 volt give or take, your USB port puts out about five, this would be enough to put a charge on your device but most likely not fully.
ruclips.net/video/C6R7PFPh-0Q/видео.html
a single AAA battery typically holds around 750mAh (they are AAA not double)
so 3 batteries would give you about 2250mAh. my galaxy s6 has a battery that is 2550mAh capacity so it could just about charge it ON PAPER
(BUT output of the batteries drops as they discharge)
typical output drain of a AAA battery is around 10mA
so would take about 255 hours to charge :) they are designed for low power non continuous drain (like a remote control for instance where it's basically lighting an LED for a second at a time) it simply can't put the power out fast enough to charge a phone efficiently.
not worth the time to build tbh. (as are all things in this vid)
most modern smart phones have IR built in so no need to build crazy looking dual led gizmos to use a remote app.

the click switch thing is also daft.... why press a shoddy button hanging out your phone when the touch screen is right there?
and the battery in the freezer thing i just don't understand.
highly unlikely, on the contrary, because of low voltage most phones won't start charging
Your all videos are good but all videos are blured and small screen please put full screen and clean

Putting the battery in the fridge / freezer is kinda underrated, liquid nitrogen is the coolest way and that's a fact scientifically proven and if u want to got over the top send it to space
And if u can't use any of thoughts ways give the battery the cold shoulder
on the off chance you have access to liquid nitrogen and not a freezer. still more likely than having access to a freezer and no where to plug in your phone.... new life hack! take your normal usb charger with you!
It's underrated? So it's better than you'd think it would be? I think you mean overrated, as in made out to be better than it is.
Does that projecter thing works?
the phone one to turn on the light is really unnecessary and the light one in the thumbnail is just stupid most phones have lights in them
its not for light its for be used as a tv remote

Hi. What was the point of freezing the battery?
superb iam really very happy to watch this video
Is it safe for my phone to charge with #1 powerbank?
I appreciate you posting the video, but I have to admit it's a bit... strange. Firstly, as far as I know, most smartphones can act as a TV remote without plugging two LED Lights into it. The DIY 'Klick' thing seemed a bit complicated for something so simple to do without it, and the last one... I have no idea what that was. You drained your phone, took the battery out, froze it for two hours, then... wiped off the box you froze it in. The End. You might want to do a little bit of explanation for that 'hack' as I doubt many of your viewers have a clue what you were doing.
I agree! What was that frozen battery about? And why tape the box shut? Very strange!
