I kinda felt like I was just killing guys guarding buttons for most of the story, which gets interrupted by a cutscene of Esperanza talking shit over FaceTime.
I think they've got plenty of story DLC planned in my opinion, meant to be a 10 year game
@@M1N1COOPERHD excuse me what? lol 😂10? 10 fucking years?
@@geman741 yep the plan with this halo is to constantly update it they said instead of making a new one
@@geman741 Yup
I think they actually weren't done with the campaign so they made the rest into what would be the next dlc, cus in the trailer, we see the chief looking at 3 red lights.
Cortana's killstreak is wild
Remember when every thought they heard the Flood scream after cortana humming.
I just realised that at 1:02 when Chief shoots the Sidekick at Atriox, it deflects off of Atriox's armour and hits Cheif's shields. So much attention to detail in a blink and you'll miss it moment, massive props to 343.
Despite how I feel about halo 5’s story. I appreciate that they went with it in infinite. Rather than being like the rise of skywalker and pretending the last Jedi mostly didn’t exist nor matter
halo infinite was amazing but im always going to be curious on what would have happened if they decided to make Cortana the main villain in halo 6 if it were a thing.
? she's dead
It could be seen by some people as crazy script but I allow that
been waiting for this
Perfect!
At one point this had 117k views, what a sight it was.
Deadly !
thank you for spoiling the ending by putting what it was in your title, really appreciate that in my RUclips recommended
It’s just crazy how humanity’s last hope the “infinity” is just destroyed by two banished cruisers
Well done man!
the audacity of giving us this banger of a cutscene and then just not do anymore cinematic cutscenes in the WHOLE GAME
A stroke of genius
Halos inconsistency is weird. One good punch from Locke cracks Chief's helmet, yet Atriox here pummels him and nothing
It's also a new armor set made with Forerunner materials, iirc
The Locke punch never should've happened. Chiefs fallen from space and that didn't crack the visor lol.
I wonder what halo 6 was originally going to be like
Badass cutscene
343k views now this does put a smile on my face
Either they really f*cked up with scale of Halo ring or that planet in background is ridiculously gigantic.
I can't wait for the re-edit of this but with the Master chief according to lore. Lol
I kind of wish there was kind of like a final confrontation with Cortana in Halo infinite it just doesn't feel right I understand why they had to do what they did because the whole 5 debacle
THIS IS INFINIT
that's pretty cool!
Okay the legendary ending is now my favorite part of halo 5
Atriox as an awesome antagonist is what should have been done with the Ur-Didact (whom I also liked) from Halo 4 onwards. Very powerful and threatening.
Yes I agree, Ur-Didact should of been the main villain for Halo 5 and 6 the original trilogy. He was brilliant.
Love this
Apparently the writers at 343 forgot that the Infinity had the ability to Deploy 10 Frigates AT WILL.
There's no way some random strike group would ever catch them off guard.
But of well, the plot needs moving....so there we go.
@@danumis_ actually, they've done that before, and the Infinity literally rammed into a covenant corvette and split it in half. This is because of the shields of the Infinity being generated from Forerunner engine tech shields.
Like I said, the writers forgot about all that, it seems.
I dont think it was a random strike group, in the campaign im pretty sure escharum said that 4 dreadnaughts attacked it(if i remember correctly)
there are frigates scattered on the ring, there is one crashed in to a mountain on your right as you first enter the open world part of the game
Not sure I picked up on that the first time. Nice
I love the Kerby as you logo
I love how Atriox casually bonks cheif on the head
Honestly, I'm disappointed that we never got a rematch with Atriox
Oh im sure we will one day
"HALO: The Endless" is a title trademarked by Microsoft, it might be a DLC for the campaign
Think of Atriox as the Final boss. He won the first fight against chief. Now chief gets stronger, finds new friends and does what chief always does. I think in a few dlc's we will have a rematch. But that might take a while
We will be getting it soon in HALO - Endless as well as destruction bias an commander class AI. An extremely smart AI compare to other commander class AI design for the sole purpose of destroying other commander class AI.
Well, The Weapon said Cortana was trapped or something but as you can see on one trailer: she appears in a cinematic with her Halo 5 style glowing purple, so if a Brute says Atriox is dead: is like The Weapon or the marines that thought Chief were dead
I wonder if the odst gets sheilding tech added into there suits like how the elites have it
oh wow nice feature
I can’t believe Chief got fuckin handled like that
Just like Reach’s ending and CEA’s opening
Not even Rogue 1 and Episode IV are this good!
Halo Reach into Halo CE is, though
That is awesome. Fair play 343.
Now we have to read a book to understand the back story lol
I have a feeling that they swapped out the halo 5 masterchief model to this model - which I guess is kind of epic?
?
Ah I like your profile picture dude! It's nice to see Apex Fans here!
@@officialkirbyfan6899 thanks man! Bloodhound for liiiife
I'm a Mirage main but yeah!!!
What are you talking about?
I thank you now
honestly, a level like pillar of autumn would had been nice in the infinity, we get so little of that ship and now its mostly not in one piece anymore
@le Hoarderz Al-Shekelsteins could have been both , pre 6 month so we can see and explore more the last moment of the infinity and really escort Lasky and Halsey instead of audio log
@@chosela2488 Honestly, that 6 month gap seems too perfect for a dlc.
We could still have a level like The Maw in the Infinity in a DLC though
@@VladskyZot exploring the wreck would be cool, searching for tech or Roland or some supply... and a good old warthog run is long due...
1:05 Master chief's grunting, that's a first
I think I can explain when you beat legendary ending on halo 5 but then I check on Halo Infinite and its say during or after the event of ending Halo 5 Guardian, UNSC Infinity been attacked by banished and then 6 month later opening of Halo Infinite begin. You see Installation halo ring 7 and you do realize that installation halo ring 7 is Zeta Halo Ring
The hunch I had all those years ago was right, that ring was Zeta Halo
I do like how Infinite's intro is similar to CE's intro. An UNSC ship arriving at a Halo ring and is getting attacked before crashing on the ring. Both Pillar of Autumn and Infinity suffered the same fate.
Then the Infinity only fell down on the ring, it wasn't destroyed into million pieces as Escharum said
Wonder what happened to all the prometheons and the guardians it seems that they’ve completely disappeared
It seems like they were defeated by the banished, or something else. You can find a guardian corpse in the distance as well as wreckage around the map.
The Prometheans were an extension of their Installations that we kept messing with in 4 & 5. They don't guard the rings like they would Requiem or the other places in Guardians.
As for the Guardians themselves, I think the Cortana recordings in Infinite make it clear what happened since she was in control of them specifically.
@@OfficialOpinion oh I was under the impression cortana controlled the prometheon soldiers as warden eternal was under her command. And I haven’t listen to all the recordings do they mention what happened?
@@Unchainedful yeah it’s abit crazy to think that the banished came out of no where and destroyed her guardians which could jus emp every ship they had
Still find it hilarious chief is throwing hands with a Ape 2 heads taller than him.
Holy shit
I wanted to play Halo 5 after the MCC so badly
atriox is such a fucking unit my gawd
*nice*
wow i've never seen the halo 5 legendary ending
That’s fucking crazy I didn’t even realize that when me and my friends beat it on legendary we got that ending but I did not realize it actually cares on to halo infinite… now that’s fucking crazy!!!!
Cortana's hum is very reminiscent of 343 guilty Spark's hum
Okay who recorded this in their gameboy color?
I did
I may have.. 😉
love the 140p quality
They done a star wars rouge one mate
weird how halo:CE intro and infinite's intro open with a big ship approaching a halo ring while being attacked by the covies.
Pissed they killed Cortana off screen. The audio logs don't even help explain what happened, and the cutscenes don't either. That is the only peev I have with the story. Otherwise it's a masterpiece.
They killed her on screen in 4
@@brianmcmillan8143 I'm not mad they killed cortana, im mad they killed her, brought her back, killed her again, and then slapped another AI on us.
@@notleviathan855 fair
@@notleviathan855 What do You mean? You see her sacrifice after atriox Made her see what she has done and caused she believed Master chief died if You can remember a scene where atriox shows a hologram of what was believed to be his corpse that was atriox revenge for Cortana destroying atriox Home planet
Also theres this question that is asked all the time i'm sure You know what it is You can hear it one more time at the end and atriox answer that he wouldnt change anything it was before and after that moment Cortana realized all of her mistakes and kills herself to stop the banished Thats why she said You really helped me to atriox all of that conversation that led up to her death can be seen in game
@@jajajajja3481 There's something called "Grammar"
I would still like to know what happened to Fireteam Osiris. Especially Buck
I can't believe I forgot about Halo 5s ending.
Sooooo....my question now is what happened to Anders, the Guardian that intercepted her ring, The Spirit of Fire, and the Banished on the Ark after Halo Wars 2, given the events that occured in Halo Infinite?
The spirit of fire is still currently in the Ark fighting the remaining banished forces there
The spirit of fire is not slipspace capable anymore
I'm guessing that this was her ring. Idk for sure ofc but there looks to be a crashed Guardian on Zeta Halo so i assumed it caused both the destruction of the ring and possibke death of Anders but then again, this cutscene shows tje ring in tact with no guardian in sight whereas Anders met a guardian right outta slip space.... Yeah man idk either HAHA
@@Metalizationer The ring that Anders was on was the replacement for alpha halo, (the halo from the first game) and this is zeta halo. So with all hopes Anders is still out there and we can see more of that soon.
@@Digital2pulse when they're done with the banished maybe they can steal a slipspace drive from high charity now that it's been cleared of flood or maybe ask the local monitor for something
@@krazysniper1018 I did. Play it but still unsure,i just know it was Cortana. Maybe missed something
Did anyone else notice there is a planet in the background? - What is to say the Infinity did just crash on there?
yeah... about what I expected.
Y’all need to read the books. So much cool stuff happened between these games.
Dismantling red team to knocking chief on his ass, (spoiler) makes me all the more want to beat atriox in the upcoming stories

0:23 they truly wants us to see that this is not halo 6 but instead a new iteration, with new mechanics and new everything. This is what halo ce was 20 years ago...
problem is, you need to have played Halo Wars 2 to know who the banished are and why Atriox is able to beat Chief. you then need to have read the books that explain wtf has happened since Halo 5
No, I don't think I will.
Not really. I never read any of the books and I could easily keep up. They do a good job explaining things. And with the banished, while it does help to at least watch Halo Wars 2 cut scenes, I think the game does a good job introducing them.
Considering red team got their ass’s handed to them by Atriox ruclips.net/video/M6q_mnebBu4/видео.html

I love how the infinite is piggy backing off halo wars 2,
Cortana humming reminds me of Aliens
Why was the framerate so choppy in the intro? When I first plaed on my Xbox I thought there was something wrong with m console.
Now make it start where infinity first got to zeta and the occupation/battles that took place
