We understand some people may be upset by the incident that occurred this weekend, but still think it’s worth posting this to show the incredible views that everyone will enjoy once all of the kinks are worked out of the system. We do feel very badly for those trapped for so long (I’ve been trapped on a monorail for 2 hours with no AC, so I get it.). But we are also glad no one was hurt and they will be able to get it fixed.
Wow, what an awesome video and love the accompanying music! Very relaxing! The fact that you were able to get such stable, clear footage in gondolas without the wrap is incredible, no small feat! Oh, and the fact that there was an incident with the gondolas has no bearing on how cool and awesome this video is....some people 🙄🙄

Dale, so my mom was diagnosed with endometrial cancer two weeks ago. I have been so busy and today I am catching up on the videos. I think I have found what I will play while waiting as she is in surgery Thursday. This was just so wonderful. You did a really good job. Thank you!

A lot of attractions had problems of Disney's even the legendary monorail and universal isn't immune either I saw some video of water gushing into some post show room or something...

I just got back from WDW, I stayed at Pop Century and I will tell you I would not stay anywhere that did not have the Skyliner. If you are walking around the World Showcase at EPCOT and it's getting late and you are tired and your feet hurt, all you have to do is walk to the England pavilion, hop on your own private Skyliner and take a leisurely ride back to your hotel. It is so much better than walking all the way to the parking lot and waiting for a crowded bus back to your resort.
It wasn't an accident. It was a malfunction with a few empty cabins. They're overhyping that word just because people were stuck in hanging gondolas for 3 hours. It was night, so nobody got heatstroke.
Great job Dale Very minimal reflections. Best video of this I've seen yet. Hoping its open again in January so I can get some cool photos/videos like this during marathon weekend.
I don't think it'll be closed for more than a few days. There are hundreds of these all over the world. They're fuel efficient, quiet and ecologically sensible. I see no reason for Disney to be reluctant to continuing and expanding the system.
londwar NOTHING gets blown out of proportion faster than anything to do with Disney either! Face it. This was honestly a nothing burger. Nobody got hurt, and no personal belongings were damaged. Yes. People were inconvenienced. No more than if the monorail stops, which it has approximately once a week for years now. The only difference here is this is new. The monorails are old news.

Would it be possible to code this as a video for kids too? Trying to keep my toddler off RUclips and just using RUclips kids but he want watch this and it’s one of his favorites! 😩
Unfortunately not. I wish we could. However, if we do that, all comments are disabled, likes and dislikes are disabled, and we don’t get any ad revenue for the video. I wish they didn’t do that and restrict the kids version so much.
So, the video isn't flipped. Some of the gondolas travel on the right side, and some on the left side. The ones at the beginning of the video are on the right.
