Was on the train on day, heading to Nice and didn't know much about yachts but I knew enough to decipher a super yacht and a yacht. The behemoth Dilbar shadowed the whole town of Antibes. I had to get off the train and take a closer look. Seeing the super yacht in all its glory was truly amazing. Unreal.

LOL!!! I keep wondering if a mega yacht of this enormous size should be a "White Boat," or, should be painted like a true Ocean Liner (not to be confused with a Cruise Ship...a slow boat to nowhere), say, such as Cunard Lines Queen Mary 2??? I also get confused at times with some of these boats with their reflective "chameleon" hull colors? That change colors depending upon time of dau, etc. And I really don't like it. Just my taste.

Dilbar is, to me, by far the most beautiful yacht in the world. I love her design and her color. Her color is different from the usual white but is still light enough to have the advantages of a lighter color. She’s amazing!
It is always a matters of taste but, like you, it fit mine too and wouldn't change it.
saw it in porto cervo and his chopper parked at villa la contra helipad, I got to say, seeing souch size yacht in a relatively small marina was definitely impressive. thanks for giving out more information on it
I have the impression that Dilbar was built to the absolut maximum size that could fit into her berth at Cap d'Antibes. She is literally a floating palace that has the longest possible length and biggest volume to get in there. Whenever I check on her she seems to be either at Antibes or at Porto Cervo or at least close by.

It is a monster of a super yacht, I've never seen it in the flesh and personality it's not one of my favourite yachts I've seen on here, I like the look of something like MY Serene or similar, great video thanks for sharing 🚤
I like the 3rd rendition of Dilbar the best. It is a good looking yacht, but not the most beautiful. I think his next yacht should just be an aircraft carrier hosting a variety of super toys like mega tenders, amphibious assault craft, float planes and mini subs.
Why put new toys when you could just keep the F18s?

@@shadowxxe It would probably be just fine so long as they were not militarized. Those aircraft are just airframes and powerplants like any other, it's the onboard sensor and weapons systems that make them into fighter aircraft. The trick would be getting the manufacturer to divert resources into producing his airframes instead of those of a $anctioned military.

I was in the Portsmouth area from Leicester and saw it had come in on the news so drove down to its dock. After telling the security guard how far I’d come he said that cruise ship has got fitters on it if anyone asks just tell em you’re going there and managed to get a photo of my van near it. It’s a monster . Captioned the photo just fitting out the worlds biggest yacht today 😂

Tks for the info on Dilbar. To me, Dilbar is my favorite ship that I was able to see. Like anybody else we can't see the inside but the proportions is so well balance, length width and height, is the best for my taste. I would like her to have the speed of Azzam but even at her speed it is my favorite ( I'm a freak for speed ) Again thank you for all those beautiful video you share for us poor guys that can't afford them but dream about it.

I’ve seen it for real in Antibes, France 🇫🇷. What a tremendous and magnificent mega yacht!
While this is a gorgeous super yacht I don't find the color particularly appealing. I know it's what the owner specified,but I think one of the most appealing parts of a large yacht is the bright white color of most that make them look beautiful i n the sun. This looks drab.
As a skipper on superyachts I like to look at it, Quickly realise that the 50/80 mtrs superyachts I sail are way better suitable for the harbors we sail to.
Currently berthed in Southampton, stood on the quay next to her , this is one amazing yacht!!

I’ve seen it docked in Antibes. It overshadows the whole dock. It’s truly immense.

The lackluster color reduces it to just looking like a "big boat."
There was a missed opportunity to assemble a superb design team to work on color schemes.

A lot of people don't like that color but my Chrysler 300 is the same color so I love it on that monster, the main reason of which is the paint much reduces glare which you get with a white hull and superstructure.
It is a nice looking yacht but, a horrible choice of color!

I was in Sardinia 3 years back when both Ona and the new Dilbar were anchored close together offshore. They were massively impressive, it is impossible not to be blown away from by their size and obvious opulence when you see them in the flesh, especially from sea level looking upwards. One day....

I don't own it, but only by seeing it, I am already happy. Very nice, and it is luxury. I like seeing super-super Yacht.
Last year I sailed from Helsinki to Sweden by Viking lines. It was quite fancy to me. Never know may be some day I can see it physically, direcltly.

I first saw Dilbar in Lurssen, Germany when she was out of the shed and on the water. We were there for some refit work. She looked impressive then just because of her size. More recently she was berthed in Barcelona where we also were and she takes up almost one complete wall. I think she is a beautiful yacht, Lurssen build fantastic quality yachts, very strong sea going ships really. I have never been on board, but I imagine she's like the Lurssens I've worked on, stunning.
I think the 156m Dilbar is a true beauty. Have seen her in the metal in Barçalona a few years ago!
I have seen it in the metal. What stuck for me was the ceiling lights on the aft decks at night. Truly reedonculous!

I worked on a 70mtr Lurrson which was one of three. The owner commissioned all three and as soon as they were ready he sold 2 which covered the build of the three. Theres people out there that pay not to wait.

He's fully prepared to crush people under his heel if it means more money for him. He's also living under the constant threat of Putin's heel. If he disappoints Putin for even a few minutes he'll find himself stripped of everything and living out the remainder of his miserable life in a sunless box subsisting on gruel.

I find it weird how like these megayachts still have similar number of decks. just looking at it alone, it doesn't look big, until you see a normal sized large yacht and your eyes pop.

Rich people buy such yachts just to experience that feeling of owning a yacht. They know that from logic and reason it doesn't make sense to own such a huge ship - they live there maybe four or six weeks per year. But the yacht requires constantly thirty people to keep everything in order plus parking costs. So usually after three years they again sell that yacht for half of the original costs.

I've seen Dilbar 3 several times now...It's way too big to be enjoyed, as you can't go into most ports. It was next to M/Y Ace (85m) a few times and also the excellent Madame Gu (99m)...both where complete dwarfed. IMO yachts are best in the ~60m range.

also barely even a beach club that probably doubles as toy storage maybe even a tender is squeezed in there.

He should commission the largest ship possible allowed under known physics. Then no one can ever build a bigger ship, it will be a physical impossibility to do so.

Year ago February we saw her in Barcelona ... it’s hard to grasp just how big it is... it’s strange in the it’s basic styling is identical to “normal” sized super yachts with aft stairs and platform but it’s just enormous! The beige color is also a big difference ...
Ona is properly pronounced "Ah-na" in Russian, which means 'she' in Russian. Dilbar is the name of his mother.
