Bro I don’t get the confusion with the Bridgeman books it’s simple he used blocks from there you use the 3 masses as a starting point to draw the figures it’s self explanatory from there for me every drawing of his when I do Bridgeman studies I always start with the 3 masses to better understand what he’s trying to teach.. for beginners I’d say it might be better to pick up the Andrew Loomis or Frank Riley books both were students of Bridgeman I think but both use their own unique techniques
thank you! Im using my study account right now and while I am pretty confident in my english knowledge (not my mother language) reading some excerpts from bridgman's book felt like an extra heavy task and having someone explaining what he wants you to understand helps so much
Your humble approach and searching line is most valuable to those following along with the intent of “interpreting” Bridgman’s principles. A large token of gratitude for your efforts!
Thanks for watching. There is so much more on this book that you don't want to miss out on. Help me reach my goal of 10,000 subscribers. Like share and comment.
I got my own teachable faces & figured lessons. It is alike speed (stenography) writing. Everybody is in awe that so much is achieved so quickly.SIMPLIFICATION(KISS].
Yes you are correct. www.amazon.com/Bridgmans-Complete-Guide-Drawing-Life/dp/1454926538/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=george+bridgman&qid=1624205173&sr=8-3
I would start out with Bridgman but I would also look at Michael Hampton. He seems to incorporate everything that has been discussed done before into a contemporary format. ruclips.net/video/XzSW9L_HGHw/видео.html
I had that small book. From Arthur Brown &Brothers . 53 st. NYS. THE sale clerk looked into it like I was buying a porn magazine. Glad so ,so,so,so very many stores closed. People are disrespectful.
Thank god someone can translate Bridgeman. THANK you!
I'm learning along with you but I'm glad I could be of some help.

I think this book is the old version of "Bridgman's Life Drawing" which is easy to find and very cheap
Yes you are correct.

I love Bridgeman! Thank you for the vid
What's the difference between this and newer version?
@@Zorahime29 Not much.. There are a few more drawings on the newer versions but the scan quality is better in the older ones.
Seen somewhere( You Tube !?!) the wisdom of teaching on toned paper. Was/Been doing that before viewing it ,by adding wash on the pages of his book.
That sounds cool.
As one starting to learn - formally - figure drawing, would you recommend Bridgeman and this book or start with Andrew Loomis (Figure Draw...)? Thx!

Yes. Some people mistake the art form of nudity for perversion. Makes you wonder where their head is at.
Another way to reach is the copying of wooden manikins ,alike the demo in How to Draw Comics the .......way!!
Yes. I am tempted to make my own.
The only part useful is his figure block -in demo.
Yes I know.
:-)
Please subtitle Spanish
