I agree you. Hong Kong is very easy to earn money, lower tax, and Convenient. Diverse food options. I immigrated to Canada and bought the cheapest furniture from IKEA. Many people use second-hand furniture and live a life without freedom. It feels so poor. Hong Kong is a civilized and wealthy society.
There are billions of people living in a place you may think is too cold for you, while most of the place has a higher livability ranking than HK. So it really depends.

Your relatives in Hong Kong are welcome to try their luck in immigrating to Canada, which is now closing its doors, particularly to East Indians and Chinese. Please also warn them that there is a piece of land being occupied by the Klu Klux Klan just north of Calgary. If you don't believe me, go there for a visit by yourself.

Such policy should be implemented much earlier! So many Indians arrived in Canada as visitors and worked on work permits. Ridiculous policy!

喺中國出世嘅一種係喺舊香港由小學開始接受教育(有啲喺97前已經落嚟)，甚至佢嘅父或母喺英屬香港出世，另一種係中學直頭都唔喺香港讀，甚至大學之後至落嚟香港嘅港漂，前者好大機會係like-minded應該接受，後者應該reject
唔洗香港出世都可收，新香港人都申請到呀
