    Waiting on my Elphapex Home. Dec. delivery. I got it before the price jump. You and Vosk convinced me on this purchase. Thank you from up above the 55 for all the work you do so I don't have to.

    I've got to say, the most attractive thing about the fluminer compared to any other miner I've looked at from these resellers, is the ability to pay with cash/credit....IMO the whole point of crypto is to HODL, so spending my crypto in order to purchase a crypto miner is kind of counter productive to me. I believe having that option available is great for those willing to use it, but making online purchases with credit/debit cards for miners should MOST DEFINITELY be made more widely available

    At this point isn’t it better to just buy the doge on an exchange. I rather invest 3k directly into the market when it’s hot and then look into mining when the market is cold.

      @@joshuadavila9352 , honestly it'd be more of a you just missed it kind of thing, I wouldn't even buy the coin. Have a hard time seeing doge doing more than a 3x from here because of its market cap already, many other coins that may do better from here. But who knows , been crazy already

    1200w is under 1500w which is the most you can switch with one of those inkbird temp controllers. Makes a good heater.

    • @miningstacker
      @miningstacker  16 часов назад +1

      This is an ideal size ,good heating use case, good compromise between small and industrial Asics. This is what goldshell should have been targeting just like their life series instead of that weird 1800 w size they went with.

      @bpp5507 10 часов назад +1

      @elliot7761 cheaply manufactured and over priced equipment is the biggest risk.... but there's plenty of other risks tho too....I also wouldn't want to be buying any kind of hardware in the middle of a bull market either, because your ripping yourself off at that point.
      Prices on equipment goes up way beyond what it's really worth, then you have to wait for that batch to ship, which could take anywhere upward from 1 to 3 months to receive. By then, the coin your wanting to mine could already be depreciating, the miner you just paid $3,000 for will go on sale for 40% less than what you paid for it and take twice as much time or longer to ROI

      Yes, that edition is first , bird flu is the next, 😂. When I saw that name , it's like man.. they're purposely trying to name it as bad as they can at this point. There's just no way this was an oversight. So ridiculous

    There are so many clones or stolen designs happening, its hard to keep up. I dont remember it being this bad last bull run. F2pool miner list shows so many of these that never reach over here. Now with Volc, xuan, 1024, and this guy- it must be more common than we thought.

    Looking at the listed specs, I'd be willing to bet that this unit is nothing more than 2 hash boards from elphapex in a slightly wider box with a different name on the front...Elphapex probably struck a deal to sell their boards to another distributor at a discounted rate

    • @miningstacker
      @miningstacker  5 часов назад

      Nah, this unit is a lot more efficient, this is most definitely very similar chips/design to what's in the volcminer , expect to see more of these off brands sprout up.

    Seems interesting but I’m becoming conservative regarding those new brands, my Elphapex DG1 psu die, had to wait 27 days to have it back and the repair last 17 days, 14 days pass since then and they haven’t sent a new psu, If I haven’t bought a spare one, I would have the machine stopped.

    • @miningstacker
      @miningstacker  Час назад

      Yikes , yes , spare parts are a must , especially ones we know are likely to fail. When things get hot , good luck finding spare parts in stock.

      @@miningstacker That's the problem if we have one or 2 brands we reduce spares because some are shared. I have 4 brands until now only Jasminer didn't fail.

      @CantFindInRUclips that's what I loved about my first batch of bitmain Asics , all 3 had same psu's/control boards/fans , but now the new gens it's all different. And then the icerivers still currently share same PSU, but control boards are different. Definitely makes it easier when it's all the same , or if we'd get an aftermarket PSU maker with adapters to be able to retrofit essentially all the models/brands , as many are the same wattage. Or even getting to the point of modular setups , where you can Frankenstein your own builds with mixing different hash boards/algo's in custom configurations, lots of things that can be innovated in the Asic space , but they all love to just copy each other with these same concepts.

    • @miningstacker
      @miningstacker  51 минуту назад

      @CantFindInRUclips I've been lucky so far with failures , everything has lasted longer than anticipated , k7 had a hash board failure right at warranties end , repair process was a disaster, but it got fixed and is still chugging. , but the 4 bitmains and 2 Iceriver big boys are all chugging along still

    lol I'll wait until someone else has purchased it, received the product, and reviewed it. I’m not keen on being the first to buy. If, during that time, the coin pops and the price of the machine doubles, then meh, it just wasn’t meant to be.
