this song is absolutely beautiful. honestly, I'm a big guy like luke and an absolute metal head to the core, but this song hit me in every line. the guys a musical and lyrical genius.
Definitely one his best. The lyrics and his voice, and everything about this song fits perfectly, he's such an amazing artist, I've been waiting for this reaction, this is one of my favorites!
Love the reaction! Also love this song. Luke has such a distinct voice and it comes so natural. He’s probably my favorite country singer out there right now. He’s such an awesome lyricist and I think it shows right in this song.
Jason Fitz, who played in the Band Perry put it this way: if I'm trying to sell one, it's a violin, if I want to buy one, it's a Fiddle. It's the exact same instrument
Luke is amazing. He is all over country radio with his cover of Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car' & it's great. For a fun song & video by Luke, find 'When it rains it ours'. So fun!
@@flickeringboxofficial At a church social we had twins that played and sang. They did this joke one sang "Amazing Grace" while his twin played the violin at a youth retreat, then the singer said now let me get out the fiddle so we can party. The violin player handed his brother the "fiddle" who then played "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" while the violinist sang. Same instrument, scale, strings just played differently like a rock piano vs a jazz piano it's the music not the "Baldwin" that creates the change.
Fiddle is someone who plays the violin (or the viola it's not rigid) in a non classical way. So Fiddler on the Roof is a guy on the roof playing a violin. I'm glad we could sort that out. Coz I originally thought a fiddle was a small violin, but it's not.
The leftmost album cover in the window is "A White Sport Coat and a Pink Crustacean" ~ Jimmy Buffett The White background one (2nd from left) is "Rejoice" ~ Brother Dave Gardner Live Comedy Nashville 1959 The far right is "The Making Of Shadowland" - "The Owen Bradley Sessions" ~ k.d. lang The other one I have no idea can't see it well enough.
Coincidentally there's a massive amount of federal land in Mississippi that is Sandhill Crane refuge and there are more of them in every other state along the Gulf of Mexico.
When you get a chance, I hope you'll react to the artist Ren. Some suggestions for him to start you off would be Hi Ren or The Tale of Jenny & Screech(full) There are many many more, but those 2 videos are a great starting point. If you do the Jenny & Screech, make sure to do the one that says (full) in the title. It is the 3 tales put into one 13 minute video and should be seen together. Thanks
@@flickeringboxofficial such a iconic song. And suits his voice. I live in the U.K and I am a big country fan. I love your videos. So glad I found your channel. Subscribe straight away.
A violin and a fiddle is the same instrument, fiddle is an Irish name for it and is more associated with the style of playing on that instrument used in country and southern rock. Therefore in the south we often say someone is playing the fiddle in country, rock, and folk, but if it’s classical or orchestral we say violin.
Can I suggest a band that are maybe not your normal fare but I think you might like at least some of their songs? The band is Nightwish and they are a Finnish symphonic metal band but don't let that put you off as they also do some folk style as well. One of the ones I think you would like is called My Walden which unfortunately I wasn't able to link the Wembley 2015 live version. I hope you listen to it and maybe do a reaction to it, thanks in advance if you do.
To me, Luke Combs is the modern day Brooks & Dunn! Blue Collar, hard working, hard drinking everyday man kind of vibes! Nobody is more relatable to the 9 to 5 middle America hard working man/woman!
Luke is so passionate in his vocal delivery he is in a spot all his own
I'm obsessed with Luke combs!! Beautiful crazy another great song!

I'm glad I came across this reaction video. I had never heard this song or really listened to Luke Combs. you've made me a fan of both. Thanks
There's a big difference between violins and fiddles. Violins have strings, fiddles have strangs.

Play him either 5 leaf clover or fox in the henhouse..I mean I love them all!! Lol but those r different and so good. ❤u guys keep up the good work!
Violin is typically scored whereas the Fiddle is "fiddled" with or improvised, both are the same four or five stringed instrument played with bow.
But they are the same thing?

What this song is about reminds me of The Dance by Garth Brooks which is a legendary song
It is
This song and video were actually recorded at Jimmy Buffet's studio in the keys
Coincidentally there's a massive amount of federal land in Mississippi that is Sandhill Crane refuge and there are more of them in every other state along the Gulf of Mexico.
Love watching you two... I been thinking of a song.. what would Alexis think of Bulletboys..
violin use synthetic strings for the box, fiddle uses a metal string on box for faster playing
“Fiddle” is just an informal way of referring to the violin
Thank tou Todd
A Violin has strings and a Fiddle has "Strangs"!!!!!!!!!!!!

listen to"Joe"by Luke Combs
Violin came before the fiddle But it's just how you tune it mainly
Yes, a fiddle and violin are the same instrument. It's all in how you play it. I prefer the fiddle.
You should react to either dear rodeo or I've always wanted to by Cody Johnson
