I don’t know if this helps, but I had similar thoughts about the cover being a bit wide. I bought an adhesive pen loop and stuck in it the inside back. So the pen lays alongside the papers, but in between the covers.
About the Autumn card, I was looking also for other languages and I didn't find them. :) Regarding the fountain pen, you ink it just the same as the TWSBI, just keep the converter attached to the pen.
