It's a trick from the 80s uk+ibiza+goa chillout "exotica" trend. See 808 state - pacific state which was a massive chillout house track from the acid era....they were always pursuing a sound they called "4th world" (hence their album Quadrastate). That classic bird call sample is from a Loon which are from like Canada and the American Great Lakes region. Yet somehow reminds you of a beach in a far away remote country with clear blue water. At the same time 808 state makes me want to go skiing. What is up with electronic music
I know! 16! That's very impressive. I'm twice their age at 32, and when I was 16 I thought stuff like Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit was the greatest music ever. I feel like I've progressed a lot to get where I am with my taste to day and this guy is already here, doing a genre well that had its peak even before they were born.
@@Marcusml333 I was the same. Listening to a lot of linkin park at 16. But I don't regret it. The first two albums were great. And Joe Hahn had some great tracks too. I made my way to jungle around age 23 and never looked back. I'm now 36 and still going strong.

When i was 16 i just started listening "real" jungle music but in production i was miles behind this guy (and still i am lol)
