Maaan I love BMW and merc. The only cars ive been driving till today.
After the test drive (bmw 3 and mercedes c class) i was really disapointed.
After watching your video i thought i can give it a try.
After test driving the Volvo V60 ive ordered T6 version.
I just fell in love with that car 😍
Thx for the review. Cant wait to pick it at the end of November.

A phone can stand up right behind the 2 cup holders, in front of the very shallow storage area. In fact, you can have your phone plugged in with it standing in the provided slot. I actually added a wireless charging pad to the slot with all wires in the shallow storage area. Works great charging, connecting with blue tooth and wire, and keeps the phone in a handy position.

I am pretty sure there are both wireless charging and fan controls for the rear on some models.
I would rather have "leather" seats with cooling then wool even living in the Nordics.

I would very much agree with you. We’ve had the wool seats on every test car that we’ve had from volvo which is every new Volvo apart from the V90 (which we will test later this year). We are getting our first Volvo without the wool seats next week and I’m looking so forward to it. The wool seats look very nice and for the car very well but they are so scratchy and unpleasant in the summer with shorts.

I am really no big fan of the Volvo press cars. Always the vapour grey with grey wool seats. The worst colours available. As for the engine: I ordered a T6 instead of the T8 since the power is sufficient and the extra power would only be useful at speeds over 180 kph.
For consumption: my current (small battery) XC60 T6 recharge uses 6.7L/100km, so I hope the V60 will be be sub 6L.
I did pick the V60 mainly due to its superior seats. Which in my spec will give a more luxurious feeling with the ventilated and massaging Nappa leather seat.

Same here, we’ve had basically the same color on all of our 3 vehicles and the interior has also been the same. Would love to see some variations to get a different feeling for it. I hate the wool seats but I do like the color of the car. I would also pick the T6 engine and the v60 as it’s more practical, luxurious and better looking in my opinion. I would have probably picked the same as you. What color did you go for ?

      This colour is disaster.
But i love wool seats. Unfortunatley this year I couldnt order them in v60 :/

    Its still made in sweden.

It’s designed and engineered in Sweden but produced in china. Geely owns a good amount of the company however they are only providing cash and not interfering with any other way

Whilst unfortunately, Volvo is now wholly owned by the Chinese, they are still manufactured in Sweden and Belgium. The V60 is manufactured at their plant in Torslanda. Volvo cars manufactured in China are the EX30 and other cars destined uniquely for the Asian market.
