@@marsellus-82 also trying to find tabs, but the only way it's try to play it when you watch at John's play it here. Someday, if I will play this, maybe make some lesson, cause I think I will can play it soon. Sorry for my eng, greetings from Russia.
Anyway brilliant. Notice how he es focused on the melody, really concentrated. He mix ideas meanwhile the shows. I think he improvise 50%. Absolutely marvellous
I was living in the south bay from 1980 on... and loved Fahey back then. Jeez, I can't imagine my not seeing this show! One of my many regrets. Thanks for posting this.
"Portland Cement Factory"?! Sorry, no. Rabbiascabbia has it right: "Melody McBad / Grand Finale" from the Visits Washington DC album. Randy: this is about the best live Fahey footage I know of. You ought to look into getting it issued commercially -- the complete show, with improved sound, etc. It's much better than the Rockpalast DVD. I may be able to help -- get in touch.
Glenn Jones hey love your guitar playing, especially anchor chain blues. I understand you had the opportunity to work with fahey and collaborate on an album, something every sane person wishes they could do. Much respect-Nash
The entire first section is "Medley: Interlude; Portland Cement Factory" from the album God, Time, and Causality. However, instead of going into "Portland", he starts playing a version of "Grand Finale". You're all half right.
I still can't wrap my head around how amazing he is. I think most people don't even understand.
nah we get it
great stuff faheys just so weird I love him
the melody at 4:40 is pure beauty. Music for soul, memory and emotion
any chance we can find a tab somewhere? I also love that part

The 1st part later titled "Ananaias" the second half is "Dalhart Texas 1967" from America, so many title changes Fahey....
Sublime, with muses at his side. Genius, although damaged...
