New videos every Friday!
We are running out of Trader Joe's foods. Seriously. Like legit running out. So all other suggestions we will take!
Retaste all the fight box foods you can, to see if you guys agree now, or if it's still fight box.
And/or put the penalty box foods against each other and see which is the ultimate penalty box food
pasta sauces could be fun! make some plain pasta and spoon the individual sauces on there.
International candy or snacks!
Try every Trader Joe’s… Tapas ingredients? (try pickles, olives, roasted peppers, tapenades?)
Would love to see pasta sauces @megahnw
"how dare you bring up my medication on a day like today when i haven't taken it" relatable
What about an "Oooh Shiny!" grocery video? You each pick 5-6 items you wanna try at the store (could be TJ's) and see who has the best instincts on whats good
i would LOVE "Oooh Shiny!" videos
Yes I love this!!
What about….. a new series where fans can send you their favorite snacks from their country and u taste them all ✨
Jen not taking her meds but having two cups of coffee is definitely mood.
She should do it more often! She’s hilarious!
Lighting in a candle in the church for Brie because the ice-cream video had the most Fight Box contenders.
And hopefully they're all still in the freezer so our hosts don't have to buy more tubs of dubious ice creams!
Jen being visually represented by a chefs knife, to Kristins kitchen, is hilarious😂
Came here to comment this 😂
@@Christisills220 I choked 🤣
Would love to see a behind the scenes of you finding all of the food. Like do you go to multiple stores? Make a checklist? Could be a fun mini video
1:30 AHHHH YES THE FIGHT BOX W/BRIE ❤❤❤❤
It's always a highlight when we get to see Brie!
I hardly ever eat bread, and never eat bread basket bread (waste of stomach space) and I mentioned this one time to a guy I liked and he was like “Oh, we would never get along” and in my head I responded “Or we’d be perfect because you could just have ALL the bread because you love it so much…” Lol! Yeah, nothing happened with him😂 What’s the point of this story? There is none. But it’s the only bread story I have. And I wanted to leave a comment. And I guess even though I’ll never eat any of these breads, I still watched this video. That’s how wonderful you both are to watch😀 Happy Friday!
The sourdough loaves are delicious when toasted-completely fixes the textural issues
That's generally the "solution" to mediocre GF bread as well.
@@PurelyCoincidentalyeah I was about to say that's usually what you do to gluten free bread to make it better too. Gluten free bread that is pleasant to eat untoasted is a rare gem.
“But this one comes in purple!” The way Kristen said that tickled my brain in a fun way
I’m a White Sox fan too! So sad.😭
They break my heart over and over but I can't let them go!
OMG when Kristen said, “it sounds a little San Francisco” I died!!! I’ve lived in S.F. my whole life and that multigrain bread is TOTALLY SF 🤣🤣🤣
The little bread pictures for the categories are adorable!
@2:29 Just the "wait" after realizing what was sung… I literally am in tears. Too funny! 😂
Kristin should play tennis BECAUSE THEY ARE SERVING! It’s the Yassified Uniform for me.
I would love a dairy free ice cream challenge between whatever stores you both choose! I love Talenti and SoDelicious cashew milk!
I'm stunned by the Dutch text on the tuna salad container.
My favorite part of Fridays!
I want a Kitchen and Jorn Mini verse series where they get a bunch of bind box mini verse toys and assemble them!
This is the best thing since sliced bread
I literally love your guys editor!! I was giggling so hard when Kristin absorbed all the bread and went down the River
You guys always make me laugh 😂
I will be honest. The TikTok song Bread was playing in my head the whole video.
In my experience, the best GF bread at TJ's was a GF brioche they had for a while a few years back. It was sweeter than necessary, but the texture was miles better. I don't know why they got rid of it, unless I was the only person who bought it. (I need to follow a low-carb diet, so I only got it occasionally.)
Come for the Kitchen and Jorn, stay for the 800 million cholera jokes!
Answer to your question as a Celiac: the Whole Foods gluten free whole grain bread is delicious!! It toasts so well and it's only around five dollars a loaf. Literally my favorite.
Gluten free bread taste 10X better when toasted
For real, it needs to be fresh out of the oven or toasted to give it a fighting chance
Honestly I’d say that for most of the bread they tried
The lack of rye bread hurts my heart as a person living in Finland... Anyway, it's always interesting to see what kind of food is sold in America so thanks for these videos!
My German heart is also dying a little bit at the offerings 😬
Yeah. As a swedish person i just saw white breads
As a swedish person i only saw white breads
Very here for Kitchen & Jorn Do Baseball
The best gluten free bread is from Canyon Bakehouse. TJ’s GF bread is the definition of stereotypical GF bread.
As someone who’s gluten free canyon bakehouse feels hit or miss for me. But I’ll go to hell and back for the Trader Joe’s gluten free English muffins bc those are crack to me.
@@TheMonicaAlison Those GF English muffins are my addiction.
I ate Canyon's gf bread for a long time and then I tried Franz gf bread and it has way more flavor. It looks like it's going to be a block of cardboard but toasted, it's quite tasty.
Just learned about GF Trader Joe’s English muffins. And have a new bread to try-if I can find it. Never heard of canyon bakehouse
You can try our marinated meats (i.e. Santa Maria BBQ, Bool Kogi, Pollo Asado, etc...); our breakfast cereals; our condiments; our chips and salsas; our wraps in the fresh section; our yogurts in cups; our popsicles; all our juices...just a thought
More Costco please! Also, I think TJs adds seasonal items at least one to two times per month.
I also wanted to say I really loved the look and editing of this video, the graphics are so cute and the little animations were so fun!
“I activated Betty” made me cackle
I was diagnosed with Celiac over a decade ago and I can confirm that good GF bread is NOT at TJ’s! They’re particularly tiny and the texture ain’t it. But I appreciate y’all trying them and always advocating for better GF options!
Where are they, cause I’m 7 years in and found no winners 😭
I miss Little Food Fights! They are so fun to watch! 😂
"Maybe I just don't like bread (without skipping a beat) that's not true." 😂 so relatable ❤ the loaf
8:46 well...i think we could argue that you could be just ok, pretty good, really great, or penalty box bad _technically_
How dare you bring up my medication on a day like today… when I haven’t taken it . Lmao 😂
I just need Kitchen and Jorn to know that as someone who doesn't live in America (like not even close), I am INVESTED in this series! Last time I went to a Trader Joe's was......2015 but both of you make me care, even about BREAD!! Love you both
Some of these might have nutritional quirks that make the dryness worth the compromise. Especially sprouted grains, they are often lower carb.
You make my Fridays so awesome love you guys! 🩵💚💙🫶🏻🫶🏻💚🩵🌈🩵💚💙💛💛💛💛💓💐🌷💜🌺🤎🤎💓💛💛🫶🏻💙💚🌈🩵💚💚💞💞💞💓🌺🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡💜💜💜💜💜
Watching this made me realize I've never bought bread at TJ's. They have always been near European/Latin American bakeries or When Pigs Fly Breads where I've lived.
Not sure how I ever stumbled across this channel but I now really look forward to this nonsense every week!
Yayyyyyy
Wow my TJ’s has completely different bags for some of these breads - strange
the outfit is so cute Kristen
Is it true that some breads in the US have sugar in them? My friend moved to the US a few years ago and I remember she had a culture shock from buying bread and discovering it was sweet.
It's actually pretty common for there to be extra sugar in just about everything in the US, including bread. I have the TJ's GF white bread right now, and I just looked, cane sugar is ingredient #5.
Bread in the US has a ton of sugar in it haha
For sure yeah. Honey Wheat bread is a thing, Potato Bread is also relatively sweet. A loooooooot of white breads have sugar too.
watching this while I have a gluten intolerance lol
OH! udis gluten free bread is the way to go. small but the best I’ve had
I would like a rundown of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream- cause whenever I see them- I just want to make the best choice for deliciousness
Keep doing what you’re doing, my unproblematic faves 🥰
JEN!!! I didn’t know you were a Sox fan!SOUTH SIDE FOR LIFE!! Love my White Sox whether they win or lose. Thanks for your videos. Love love love them! You two are so much fun. ❤❤
Hi! Celiac here, some good gluten free bread is Aldi white live g free, anything Schar (ESPECIALLY THE SOURDOUGH DELI SLICE!!! or ciabatta), and udis soft white! I would recommend toasting them all before eating to give them a real chance lol maybe a video trying all gluten free options?
I just don’t get why each time they put something in the fight box they don’t get Brie to try it at the end of that video rather than another video?
Brie's an engineer lmao. She's got to do her real job sometimes!
the graphics in this vid were so fun!!
My go to for GF bread is Canyon Bakehouse, specifically the ones that are in the freezer section not the shelf stable ones, I think theyre less susceptible to drying out. The Hawaiian one is really nice for making toast with jam tho, or for anything you'd like a sweet bread for.
Schar makes an excellent multigrain ciabatta too, and Odoughs also makes a great sandwich bun type of thing. I like to use those for like pulled pork or to fancy up my sandwiches
Just started making sourdough this year (I know, late to the trend) and after making several passable white flour loaves, I tried a recipe that added wheat and rye. Game changer, so much more flavorful and delicious. I don't know why more places don't jazz up the types of flours they use.
My favorite bread wasn’t here and it’s the PERFECT sourdough sliced bread! It has a blue label and it’s shaped like regular ol’ sliced bread but it’s sourdough! It’s delicious! I hope you find it one day and try it on your own, I think you’d love it
I luuuv white bread 🍞!! That said,my mom used to make me spend my allowance for Wonder bread if I wanted it! We always had sourdough or artisan wheat 🌾 from a fancy bakery. Oh and fresh french 🥖 baguette!! I guess it's safe to say that I really like 🍞 bread and I know what I like!! 🤪 LoL!! Always love to see you two!! Say hi to Brie!! Have a great weekend 🤗!!
This was funny! I love Kristen's hairband too!
They used to carry the Milton’s breads and that was the real ish. THAT is how to make a not-dry multigrain bread
I didn’t realize it before but I need kitchen & jorn for mental health reasons
Trader Joe's has a Italian sourdough bread it's super good. Hard to find but worth it. I like toasting it and buttering it. And their rye bread is good too. And I used to not like rye bread.
I love kitchen’s outfit and the HEADBAND! 😭😭😭💙💙💙💙💙
"we don't disagree that often" *first food goes in the fight box*
Have the cracked wheat sourdough bread toasted, with the tomato bell pepper soup, perfection xo
"Not Good For You Bread" toast some bread... Apply butter and sprinkle brown sugar on top ❤❤❤
Posted 2 minutes ago 🤨
I feel so lucky!!
Aww, I was hoping y'all would get to try the Three-Seed Sliced Sourdough. It's my favorite toasted with some butter on it!

1:58 So, it’s a Crustcuterie Board? Or a regular day out at Subway?
The “did you take your medication today” moment is so relatable 😭🤣
I want to see you guys do another food competition where u make meals using fight box items!!!
I am 55yrs old so I grew up in 70's so Wonder Bread was my childhood . Delicious p.b and jelly where the jelly completely saturated the side the jelly was on by the time you finally had lunch ...
My Aunt was " healthy food " from the jump so you dreaded eating at aunt Karen's ( and yes she was absolutely a Karen before there was ever a term) and the wheat bread had flour on top for some reason it was awful lol
And I completely agree with Jen because when I eat white bread I think the whole time how the white has absolutely no nutritional value but they are so good . actually i think they say the whole grains are the healthy ones But it
If you’re running out of TJ’s, maybe Sprout Farmers Market? Or Erewhon if you’re feeling fancy?
Good gluten free bread: Canyon Bakehouse, Little Northern Bakehouse (i think thats the name at least - it's not available in many places near me). And only the former is comically small!
I'm sure there are equally good loaves to be found in LA, but if you're ever in Santa Barbara, Lilac Patisserie has a gf loaf that's mighty good. Expensive. But tasty. The whole restaurant is gf and delicious. The bread will spoil fast so I do recommend storing it in the fridge/freezer.
I’d love to see seasonal breads.
I would love to see you try and make and shape bread 🍞
I have such a bad association with plain white bread! My mom could only afford the cheap wonderbread when I was a kid and would give me two slices of bread plus a slice of black forest ham as a sandwich, served warm after sitting in my uniced lunch bag all morning. I want to gag just thinking about it. But working in a bakery as an adult has me really appreciating a GOOD, wholesome (as in ingredient quality) white bread! It smells so good when I put it through the slicer, and it really encapsulates what white bread should be. I'm not a bread purist by any means, but I never thought I'd enjoy white bread ever haha.
Yay!!! New vlog💫🫰☀️
So I'm Belgian, years ago I visited LA and ate quite a lot of Traders Joe bread. But one thing my partner and I agreed on, it was nice, but that's not bread 😂
I'm on the east coast and there are 2 different Sourdough Breads. One doesn't taste like Sourdough at all. The other has a crust like rye bread and it is one of the best I've ever had outside of San Francisco. I'm never without a loaf in my home. It's just weird that we have totally different products on different coasts.
What’s the best thing since sliced bread?
Kitchen and Jorn❤
@@krisfinley6706omg I was thinking the same thing ❤
okay the ham bread toasted is AMAZING though
I got a loaf of that sprouted bread from my pantry a couple months ago. I liked it. But it sat here for over a month because I don't eat a ton of food. I'm only one person. I have to be craving something to eat enough of it. Anyways the loaf sat here over a month lol it got hot 85°f one day that bag got steam from moisture in the bread a few days later there was sprouts coming out of the bread from seeds lol I threw it out to the birds to eat..
y'all gotta toast that gluten free bread...that's how Gf bread shines! & Hi from Virginia 🙂
I would love to see a little food fight with the penalty box food.
You can also try our dried fruits and nuts...there's lots to choose from
You should make grilled cheese sandwiches with your favorite breads and leas favorite cheeses from trader joes and see who can win.
I'm a rays fan and the sox beat us so its looking up lool
i can’t believe you didn’t try the gluten free white bread. it’s a tiiiiny bit better than the other ones, and you get even less bread! teeny little bread slices, with plenty of holes so you only get about 1/4 of a regular slice (if that). i heart gluten free bread ❤
"This bread has a fascinator.". I hurt myself laughing.
Okay now they need to do the same bread but toast them. See if that changes their perspective!
Does anyone remember that TJ sold Sourdough Sprouted Grain bread? It was my favorite bread and of course it was discontinued. I cannot find another brand that makes Sourdough sprouted grain.
Cereal? Trader Joe’s? I know you did it on the other channel that shall not be named, but maybe updated and better than ever!
There's nothing wrong with white bread! It just has less fiber. So if you eat some fiber with it, youve balanced out any negatives it might have, and bam. Deliciouser bread.
can't believe you missed the pumpernickel!! thanks for another fun episode nonetheless
You should have tried the bread toasted as well!
