I saw this video like two years ago and i haven’t been able to stop thinking of it since then. The staging on this is just so amazing. When he goes up on that platform and you just see his silhouette in that box as he’s just going crazy it’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen

I'm about to see the guys live next week and I can't help myself from wanting to request this song to matty with a led screen app on phone...but Im just wondering why I've never seen any one requesting song in any concert...So just wondering "requesting song" is a taboo or offensive or smth to the band cuz its their choice to play what they want? Just want to know should I still do it.
You can certainly try and request songs, I've seen people hold up signs before or shout song names out, the issue is usually that the songs all require certain guitar effects or samples to be pre loaded onto the pedal board or drum pad, so if they didn't plan to play it, it more than likely that it's impossible to play as they simply don't have the presets ready to go. He's acknowledged requests before and said 'sorry it's just not possible' and he means they can't just play it on whim for reasons mentioned. Lostmyhead has very heavy gain and distortion and is definitely a preset effect that would need to be ready to go, whenever they offer a vote to the crowd to pick a song the selection is always ones they have 'brought with them' for want of a better term lol.
