Paper is normal for speaker cones material and foam is normal for the surround material 💀 That's literally one of the most common combos around and it does not fail
I use these in my setup 😂 and I realized that when I turn them up a lot, it makes a buzzing sound. But it’s not like I blast my Minecraft sounds, so they are very useful for just gaming and not terrible
it might be the surface they are on. a few things i have that produce sound buzz when they get loud, and that is because of the vibration going through the surface they’re on. maybe try getting foam pads or even chair leg pads and stick them on the bottom.
are you using the same source for power and audio? what i mean by that is, is it plugged in to a laptop or pc with the usb and aux cord because if you do that it would create a ground loop noise which might be the buzzing noise your hearing at loud volume. you could maybe get rid of that if you use a charging brick
@@anxiety1209 quote: "are you using the same source for power and audio? what i mean by that is, is it plugged in to a laptop or pc with the usb and aux cord because if you do that it would create a ground loop noise which might be the buzzing noise your hearing at loud volume. you could maybe get rid of that if you use a charging brick" Response: Agreed, in fact I have two of these setup at home and one at work. I even gave a few to relatives that in dorms with limited room. Don't use the usb port from the laptop or desktop, use a charging brick like you mentioned and it's a night and day difference. My advice to most people is to get a brick rated 5v @ 2A (or 2000ma which is 10 watts) or better yet 5v @2.4A (or 2400ma which is 12 watts) as this will also allow the speakers to have some bass without whimpering.
@@ikeschrager9903 my mom died and her evil boyfriend she was with before she died took them so I couldn’t find them when I went there for what I left there
I have these and they aren't too bad the sub does make a small difference and for ten bucks it's not bad. Also most speaker cones are made of paper as well as having foam surrounds.
@@ultimateearrapechannel31I have the speakers and the bass slider makes a surprisingly large difference. Listening without the bass is horrible, the bass should always be cranked to the max. If it isn't, it'll sound like it does in the video
The cheapest brand new 2.1 speakers you could get in India is Intex IT 881U for less than 15 USD (2023) but it you ask me about a gaming 2.1 (with RGB lights that is) it is from Ant Esports GS270 for 17 USD (2023)
try using a charging brick to power them because normally laptop usb can't output as much power compared to a usb brick and more power could possibly make it more louder.
@@the_irs_real not the case with desktops either maybe some will do but mine doesn't it's limited to 350ma so it doesn't go any louder either but a charging brick outputs 1000-5000ma some even more depending on the manufacturer and model
even high end speakers use paper and foam especially ones from the 1980s and 1970s which is ehrn they were made best. i do work on this stuff a lot and the reason those ones suck is due to a bad motor and weak amp without dedicated crossover or tweeter. i use a nice pair of klipsch bookshelf speakers and a pioneer reciever for my pcv overkill definitly but i like it.
I am a bit late, but I’ve actually had the speakers and they sounded really good for me. I’m not sure if I got a good pair but I liked them but I do not fully recommend them if you have a lot of money.
I have those speakers and they sound great. You probably should try it again and turn up both knobs all the way. Also the side speakers are upside down in the video.
I use these as my main PC speakers. Idk what you're talking about because mine somehow sounds better than my UE Megaboom, my Beats Pill, my other speakers, etc.
I literally have those and they are really good and really loud. Maybe you got a bad one and you had the little speakers upside down😂 and I’ve had mine for two years and they haven’t had a problem
You better off spending a extra few dollars buying high end speakers I understand everyone likes to a few bucks but sometimes you have to spend money to have a premium product it’s my opinion

exactly, but normally its more of a rubber foam thing, and pressed paper, but then again its possible thats what that was

I’ve been using these for at least 2 years and they haven’t broke on me so they must be atleast decent!
paper cone and the surround being foam is completely normal actually, thats what most speakers are made out of
Even built in speakers sound better (when used with equalizers obviously)
The gaming speakers are actually really good
No, they are crap, chinese cheap crap
speakers are typically made with paper cones. That isn't a telltale sign that it's cheap.
