I worked on many Cirque gigs in Australia and New Zealand....Saltimbanco was the best. The the Americans took over the show, the magic ended and it became just another money making scheme...
Does anybody know what the name is of the production before Saltimbanco? The show opened with people walking on stilts very slowly through fog and mist. I loved the music and the magic so much and would love to find the music again.
Pokinoi is easily the best out of all of them. I can't help but feel like Cirque du Soleil is not what it was... most of the new shows are too much. There are too many people on the stage, too many colors... I prefer the older shows where just one thing happened at a time, and there was beauty in the stillness. The music was better too.
