Hi Guys! The great piece of music at the beginning is from an opera created in 1883 entitled Lakme. The name of the song is called 'Flower Duet'. Some have thought it was Dimash singing it. But no. This is precisely how it has always sounded. I grew up hearing this song and it is the original. That being said, Dimash could do a gorgeous job singing those Angelic high notes, right? Dimash composed this piece. He is the most versatile performer I have ever seen. He can do it ALL and be the BEST at it!. I enjoyed your enjoying of this awesome song and well done video!

On February 26, 2024 in Istanbul, Dimash Qudaibergen presented a music video for a new work “When I’ve got you”. The premiere took place as part of a press conference held by the artist in connection with his upcoming solo concert in Turkiye.
The main idea of the clip belongs to Dimash and the MV’s director Galym Asylov: “A world-famous artist, who leads a very private lifestyle, decided to give his first open interview. The young journalist chosen by him goes to the meeting in great excitement, immensely worried and tormented by the question: “What if?…”. The woman’s vivid imagination suggests a mysterious image of the main character and plunges her into a mystical story.
“Everyone knows that Dimash is a kind and simple person. Not much is known about his personal life, he does not often appear in the media space and does not give particularly personal interviews. We wanted to present the artist from a slightly different side, in a “book”, fictionalized image”, - shared the director.
Galym Assylov and Zhanibek Gusmanov - the second director of the project and line producer say that the shooting process was very interesting, it took place in Almaty. A creative team of more than 70 people worked on the clip with the involvement of specialists from China. It was there that the costume of the main character was sewn and together with Kazakhstan specialists created the whole image of the artist.
The casting was not simple enough: many actresses and models were tried for the role of the main character and other characters. Three locations were used in the clip, and the search for ancient culture was not an easy task. In a creative atmosphere, a large international team tried to create a mysterious story in every element of the interior, in every detail of the costume, in every frame.
The composition itself was written by Dimash. The author of the lyrics was Candice Kelly. The co-writer of the lyrics, co-producer, orchestrator and arranger was Dmytro Gordon.
“Working with Dimash is a dream for many, and I felt extremely honored and privileged that he has entrusted me to work on this song with him. It felt like a great responsibility, as “When I’ve Got You” was a step into a new direction for Dimash as an artist, and it was also something different for his core audience. Dimash told me that for some time, he wanted a track on the verge of blues, jazz, rock, and r&b, and my suggestion was to make it sound fresh and edgy - something raw but beautiful, something truly unexpected. That has resulted in a blend of some heavy drums, electric guitars and piano together with the orchestra, synthesizers, harmonica, and even a choir. We wanted the song to sound groovy, cinematic, epic, and bold. No holding back!,” shared Dmytro Gordon. (Dimash News)

Dimash is a singer from Kazakhstan with an almost 7 octave range (he will turn 30 in May). With all due respect to Freddie, his range was not as big, nor as versatile. Unique: absolutely, just hearing one note of his voice and everybody knows it's him. Besides having an enormous vocal range, Dimash also sings in multiple languages, in multiple styles and is a multi instrumentalist.

Placido Domingo, born Jan. 21, 1941 and Dimash, born May 24, 1994 singing this classic duet on December 10, 2023. So there's 53 years between them, let that sink in for a moment. Placido's voice is still wonderful at age 82 in this clip.

So in the video, he keeps making her black out and wake up somewhere else. I don't think she dreamed it. I think Lurch put her in the car and was driving her back when she woke up.
She was obviously there to interview him and the newspaper she picked up was already printed so it had to be about another journalist that was missing. My guess is it may have been one of the other women in his nest that were sitting at the table and she's just there to become another one of his victims.
I've watched it so many times trying to figure it out.
If you watch the women's reaction at the table where it looks like something is happening to all of these women at the same time. I believe he used his powers to satisfy them before he took her otherwise they probably would have killed her. She's probably unaware any of that even happened to her. She possibly only remembers the interview.

SMALL is a shopping store chain in Kazakhstan, that supports DIMASH's video and music efforts and he is paying thanx to them in this Music Video. The deep voice that was DIMASH, he has done similar deep voices in other videos. Range incredible; we don't even know exactly what notes his range covers just the ones he has shown so far.

Dimash has a multitude of voices. He can sing it all! It's like the very best of each kind of voice is inside him, and he can use them whenever he chooses. Also he can switch from head to chest to mixed, octave to octave, seemingly without effort. He is truly amazing! Always assume it is Dimash as he does everything live too. The only one where there is a change is for "Screaming" because he does all his own back up vocals in the music video and obviously can't do that live so changes it up live.

One older performance but really fun fun performance is Dimash Opera 2. He was 22 and performed it on a competition in China. As he sings they show the faces of the competitors and their faces are priceless. Opera 2 and Adagio are absolute must from the Singer 2017 show. He was young but absolutely incredible.

The song in the car is a 1915 recording on an old 78 RPM record. That is why it’s so scratchy. You can find the recording on RUclips. It sounds EXACTLY like in the mv. Two Russian sopranos singing in the “flat” opera style of 100 years ago. 😊
