This is very helpful! I especially like how the woman speaks very clearly and distinctly so the learner can hear the sounds exactly, and then the man speaks more naturally, as one would hear it "on the street." I think it's always important for beginners to hear both versions. I also like the language you have chosen to include. Well done!
I really like the fact that he's more natural. You get a good idea of the proper way to pronounce something at a speed that's good for learning, then you get to here how it will be said when you actually need to speak it. It was very helpful for me.
Actually if you can speak English (which you can obviously) it shouldn't be that hard for you to learn German too. Based on the fact that English is a Germanic language (together with influences from Greek, Latin) many words and constructions are similar, like Boot = boat, Land = land and so on.
Frank The fact that english is a germanic language doesn't mean that is a lot of similar. They both have some similarities but those similarities are not enought for getting the lenguage. You will need much more than those similarities. My mother lenguage is spanish and in my opinion it has lot of similarities with german(both latin roots) except vocabulary of course! constructions are similar in spanish too but construction is not the problem of german.
There are lots of similarities in the vocabulary. Just a few examples: Word = Wort, Boat = Boot, Land = Land, Arm = Arm, Bear = Bär and so on and so on. The TH actually is coming from the Greek δ (delta) spoken like the TH in English and used in (for example) that. And this "that" is in some region of Germany also used like "dat". German uses some Latin words, but it is not a Romanic language, it also has a strong Greek root, like Spanish. Anyway I am glad Spanish has lots of similarities with German, because I started to learn Spanish. ;)
Yeah, as someone that speaks English I find most of the basic words easy to learn. It's the really long ones that are hard to fit into a sentence without twisting your tongue. There's consonants in some longer words that aren't pronounced but as an English born speaker, my brain tells me to speak all of them. Training your brain to not want to pronounce words as they look is the hard part.
Dear Magauchsein: I´m delighted with your process to teach the German language. I live in Mainz (9 Months) and I´m learning a lot with your sistem because I just use the English language everywere but I need absolutely the German language to work in this country on my job (technical). To LEARN the BASICS of basics in any language is FUNDAMENTAL and DON´t worry with critics, To teach SLOW Down, BASIC words and SHORT expressions its v/good for the Beguinners! ...J.Lourenco/Mainz
@EthyTheSimsLover123 In fact we got Best of Polish video. Search for Polish Blackboard on my channel :) And visit us in our Polish Language Forum on solarnet tv. You can help a lot. If you would write a list of sentences you want to know - I promise to make a video based on your list very quickly.
After listening to this German lesson a second time I noticed a rather subtle difference in the speech patterns of these two very delightful young presenters: The young man speaks sentences with the proper word emphasis. The young lady is reciting words in a fairly uniform manner. Moreover, the former speaks the sentences in a more fluent way which, in fact, gives more meaning to the statement.
viel danke, sehr gut !!. greetings from mexico, these videos really have helped me, because I've started learning Deutch some time ago. And I liked how she say the phrases slowly and then he say them at normal speed. Congratulations !!! you have another suscriber !!
vielleicht es ist interessant für dich, weil du hast es noch nicht gesehen? I teach English and occasionally find myself watching beginner videos in English wondering why on earth I am wasting my time :p
I think the combination of both is what is actually needed: one speaks slower, another how one would normally speak. Made me smile how the guy blushed while saying 'Ich liebe dich' )))
because you want to describe how you feel and not what you are. There is probably not much logic in it but only a language tradition but if you would say: Ich bin warm. Most people would understand it as you saying that you are gay. (because the old German version for a gay person would be: warmer Bruder)
Thank you very much. I really benefited from this video. It's a great help for the beginners to learn some basic phrases. The pronunciation is very clear.
Very much enjoyed this video and I hope to see of them. I like the idea of two of you reciting the same phrases. As a beginner speaker of German, this was very helpful!
Vincent Stark Depends on the social situation. The meaning "I don't care" could be added in the cultural subtext. But really no one would be able to notice that unless you know the person really well and you know how her/his intonation changes when she/he is not in a good mood.
The girl pronounced it clear, so it's easy to understand. The guy spoke faster and more muddled, which is probably how people speak normally everyday. So it was good to have both

Not slow enuf
Seems like they are on gun point
Literally, even see the curtains. Seems like the Taliban are forcing them to speak German.

Tim Watts hahhah english 1at 1 ……… I mean 1 on 1
Ich wohne in Deutschland nun seit fünf Jahren. Es habe mit solche Videos begonnen, Deutsch zu lernen. Nun kann ich sehr gut Deutsch sprechen :D
I like the way the guy pronounces the words... Pretty clear-klar
"Ja. Ich verstehe." is a phrase I'd never get to say.
Warum nicht?
why?
😂😂
@@Master_Trip_BR because I’d never be able to speak german.

Learning German is a challenge to our brain. But it is beautiful language as well as the speakers of it.

The same for me, fellow. I come from an Spanish speaking country
"Es ist warm" has been translated incorrectly with " It is hot". Its translation would be "Es ist heiß". Both in English and German, warm ist warm.
Vielen danke für das video. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!

Does "Kein Problem" really mean "I don't care" instead of "No Problem" or have no one else really noticed it in 5 years? >.>
Vincent Stark Just "no problem".

On 1:18 they say "Ich bin aus Munster", shouldn't it be Ich Komme aus Munster? which is correct?
Both are correct Claudia Rocha
It is like we say in English "I am from Münster (bin)" or "I come from Münster( komme).. Both are correct
