You're right! I think both Popper 9 and 13 are excellent for double stops and octaves. The similar key areas in both would also be very helpful for Piatti 3.
Yeah and actually. Even before trying these etudes I realized I should do my scales in thirds lol. I've been doing popper 9 for 5 months but I can never get it perfectly in tune. So I'm going back to the basics.
Actually, I just finished my audition and returned home to Boston! I wanted to meet you but I was super busy and at Ann Arbor for only a short time. Finished all my auditions and now I wait for results :)
