Why would a reformed pastor do this?? Am I the only one who thinks it went too far? And I am not so used to preachers in the US but is this not HB Charles as in the fellow I watched in ligonier conferences??? Why this stack difference in attitude towards worship?? Am I the only one finding this different in a not so nice way?
This is NOT Pentecostal preaching in the slightest. This is traditional African American style of preaching. He is “closing” the message practicing an art form called ‘whooping’. Watch HB’s Cutting It Straight videos for a better explanation from his perspective. But this is extremely common and solid biblical preaching!
Do your research BEFORE you post. HB Charles is one of the greatest Biblical teachers in the country , this video just shows the celebration whoop which is traditional for Baptist churches
