I've driven thousands of miles while listening to this album. Probably the most underrated album starred by a member of another underrated band and all are played with other in-the-pocket geniuses. Changed the way I approach music, guitar and life. How this music goes undetected to the masses is a mystery to me.
Yours is a great post. Buck Meek is a very special artist and I’m not sure there could be a better, more agreeable choice for drive time, regardless of time and distance. His songs are like a road trip themselves, into something uncertain but with the likely promise of real reward. The answer to your question is this is just too personal, too idiosyncratic, and frankly too good to reach ears on a mass scale. I do think a lot of people who will never hear him would like his music though.

I agree but I'm not sure big thief is that underrated with 3 grammy noms.
