Hosted by Nick Cannon, with panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Rita Ora and Robin Thicke, “The Masked Singer’' is a top-secret singing competition in which celebrities face off against one another while shrouded from head to toe in an elaborate costume, concealing his or her identity. With each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers and even the other contestants are left guessing who is singing behind the mask. The singers may attempt to throw off the crowd, but keen observers might pick up on tiny clues buried throughout the show. Each week, a singer is eliminated -- and then reveals his or her true identity.

I knew it was Clay & Rubin 😀 been a huge fan of Clay for years , I recognized his voice from the beginning. 🤩
Clay has such a distinctive voice it took me one minute to know it was him. That left Reuben as the other half.
Clay yes was very distinct. Ruben’s singing voice has gone down, but the runs at the end of his phrases was what gave it away for me.
They sing so well!
They were my favorite this season, a bit disappointed. Their show is amazing, saw them in Michigan.

I knew that fabulous voice was Clay's the minute i heard it.
It was so nice to hear Clay singing again. Last I'd heard of him, it sounded like he was done with his music career and was focused on politics and being a dad. He has such a beautiful voice, it would be a travesty if he didn't record more music.

I’m surprised they didn’t guess them at all. Clay has a very distinct singing voice and Ruben’s (Paula’s velvet teddy bear’s) singing might have gone down, but the runs at the end of his phrases is what gave him his signature singing style. Flying Without Wings is something I still listen to in the car. It’s wonderful to see these two together on stage and awesome to see that they’ve remained close.
When they performed on American Idol as a duo last year Ruben mentioned that Gladys Knight gave him the nickname the "Velvet Teddy Bear" when she was one of the special guest coaches.
This Isn't the first time they didn't guess correctly They didn't guess Chris Daughtry As Rottweiler for Season 2 Either, Robin & Nicole kept on saying Darren Chriss, Darren voice Isn't strong like Chris Daughtry & Jenny kept saying Jason Mraz Which It Isn't even the same tune As Chris Daughtry & Forget about Ken He thought might be Dave Franco Or Bow Wow.

@@RedRobin6543 They shouldn't have put Group C before Groups A & B. It was very strange that they did that. It was almost like they intentionally changed who they saved with the bell. Since Rita was shown in the season preview clip ringing the bell wearing the dress that she wears in tonight's episode.

I think after this experience for at least clay because ruben as a knew single comming out that clay will go back and record again i have all his albums. Clay & Ruben did AMAZING on this show! I wish they got the bell but can someone please explain why Rita used the bell in this episode even though I did not see it during the episode? It makes 0 sense to me and I'm confused!

Really? His voice is incredible and he's not a singer. He is an actor and has never had any vocal training and he can sing circles around some of these professional singers. I'm glad someone who is not a professional singer is making it this far.
I had the feeling that they were going to have to bump up against gumball .and when I heard the crowd shouting gumballs name I k new they were leaving the show . But they stil did l america proud. We will always love us some clay and ruben❤

@@jonathandillon2100 Clay Aiken's singing voice is very unique. He also has a bit of an accent when he sings. I knew it was him immediately after he started singing as one of the Beets. I would say that most of the people who have bought his music would have recognized his singing voice. I'm surprised that Ken didn't since he said that he watched season 2 of Idol.
I know Willy Wonka has been beat to death with remakes, but why did nobody think to use Clay as Wonka? He looks the part and can sing musical numbers.

Ashley was already on the show back in Season 10.
They didn’t win because the judges voted for Gumball who was not that good but the judges never vote for couples or team to win. To me, think they already know who is behind mask so they choose in advance who’s going to win. The Beets by far were better than the other singers. Guess all game shows are rigged.

So, The Beets For This Season Of The Masked Singer Is Ruben Studdard & Clay Aiken??? I knew It, The Judges are So stupid not to recognize them, Their singing voices & Their harmony's Is Unmistakable not to be recognize But I shouldn't be A bit surprise Because They didn't recognize Chris Daughtry Either As The Rottweiler for Season 2, He, Ruben & Clay wasn't even trying to disguise Their voices & I'm sad to see them go But I'm glad they had fun though!!! 🥰👏🤦♀
