I saw your video on QX-56, had the same problem-the shop asked me 1600 to repair, took the parts, had water 💧 in the headlights, couldn’t unplug the bulb 💡, it dried, and the headlight is working. The problem is water in the bulb, it just needs to dry.How do I keep it dry?

Hey thanks for watching, I saw your comment on the video. Sorry didn’t have a chance to respond. This root cause to my issue was I had a hole in my wheel liner allowing water to reach the light. I had to replace my liner to keep water from directly splashing my lights. The problem is the design of this light, the ballast is mounted under the light housing. One rec to fix is to seal the ballast with waterproof tape. Just wrap around the seam. If your ballast is good, you should not need to open it up to dry it out. Grab a roll of patch and seal gorilla tape. This is permanent bond tape, make sure it says that on the package. That should hold you. Hope this helps 💪🏾
