Almost forgot about Over Heaven making it more balanced, to be honest. I had been expecting Asriel to move in The World's time stop though. A great rare Undertale battle! How about Neo Metal Sonic vs Zero? Seeing your take on it would be interesting.

Cool battle, if Asriel was someone who actually takes fights seriously to be careful not to lose, he could have learned about Overheaven's limitations, that being Dio can only alter reality with his/The World's hands, but he is so used to either being in full control of a timeline or just being an unstopaple force that he didn't care and just tried to brute force this fight out (even as Flowey, when he either sees he will just frustrate himself further or that he has no chance of reloading if he died, he just flees and stay out of anyone stronger than him), I have a feeling even if Dio didn't have Overheaven in this fight, he could have found a weakness or loophole behind Asriel's infinite attack and defense, maybe he tries to suck his blood while time is stopped and ends up absorbing some of the souls Asriel has, and changed the tide of the battle entirely (and if someone says "But Dio is a human, he can't absorb any human souls", he would probably just say he threw his humanity away long ago, so he is no different than the monster in front of him, or a kid claiming to be a God).
The only thing I don't see working in this is the simple fact that Undertale's Monsters dont have any blood, being made of magic/energy and turning into dust upon death.. but anything beyond that Yeah. This is an unique matchup worth seeing
That's not what the Hypergoner do the entire timeline should have been eradicated after Asriel used that move also in his final GOHD form he should able to prevent Dio from moving around and just bombarded him with a whole bunch of energy bullets and projectiles though perhaps Dio over heaven abilities would let him bypassed asriel body immobilisation however if dio did managed to kill asriel he could just loaded his savefile and continued fighting
It's hard since both basically overwrite things, i think Dio over heaven still wins, but Asriel with the 7 souls(or well, the 6 humans and the monsters) is still op
Interesting fight, note overheaven would have ended it with a couple of punches. Since this thing beats GER, which effects causality , so messing with timelines is going to be meaningless. Plus unless dealing with similar energy, kinda assume Jojo stand would ignore it like they did with hamon. Then again animation was good and gave at least confidence in both fighters.
Good fight. The only thing I didn't like was that the good/misunderstood character lost to the evil character. Glad nobody is being a jerk in this comment section so far.

Yes like asriel has infinty defense in game plus infinity attack dio wouldnt even rember if he reseted the timline asriel hold back his powers against frisk even in his real form so if asriel was it could probably defeat overheaven dio

And He also Oneshotted Funny valentine, whos Stand Can create a barrier made out of Infinite universes. 1001 Universes = Low Multiversal. Dio Oh also defeats Johnny, who defeats Valentine in part 7.
