I know it's likely some kind of test or drill but is it always this humiliating for lesser/newer cadets/people? This makes me wonder.....a LOT!!
+bane They're teaching them the pressures of taking commands during combat, and to never question a commanding officers orders no matter how dumb they are (and the marine is just having a little fun doing it), just because it seems unorthodox and silly does not mean it's not an effective training method.
At a full field inspection my canteen had "Three drops of water in it." The Drill Sargeant called me on it and slammed it in my chest. The guy next to me was asked if there was any water in his canteen..."Yes Drill Sargeant! Approx. three drops Drill Sargeant!" I busted up laughing and Drill Sargeant Root got all upset at me again.
+realbieped thats not so bad. it may look like the Marine was pissed but he was just teaching the proper etiquette to only salute an officer in a Marine way.
+Robby S This is true but I still think he did the best thing possible. He was holding his weapon in a "salute" when it was taken so, naturally he popped a salute.
If you've never had a pissed Marine sergeant in your face, you won't understand. 33 years ago on the 10th I stood on yellow footprints and had a whole nest of Marine DI's light into my ass. Best-worst day of my life. Made me a better man though I didn't know it at the time. Semper Fi.
I fuckin love the Marines. To all the special people saying the Marines are being idiots, they aren't. They are testing the Cadets Military Bearing by screaming and causing chaos around them to see how they respond. Well done Marines!
that's the entire point of what they're doing. part of discipline is not flinching, laughing, or otherwise reacting to the environment. you can't survive a firefight if you can't handle a couple guys yelling at you. Source: 3 years senior ROTC
These are high ranking cadet officers for crying out loud (first cadet was a Major) So there's zero tolerance towards these young men. They should be squared away from top to bottom. If these marines don't yell, the cadets won't take them seriously.
You evidently can't see the basic fact that this is a duly-constituted COLOR GUARD -- they are holding the National Colors and the Colors of the United States Air Force. For these Marines to carry on like this to a Color Guard is disrespecting those colors. Had they put the colors aside, and stood there, then fine. But the presence of those two flags means BACK OFF, STAND AT ATTENTION, AND SHOW PROPER MILITARY RESPECT.
it's funny, because if they decided to stay on that route, they will become actual officers in the military and then this people who were yelling at them will have to show them respect.
They will eventually understand (hopefully) that this was all to teach them how to think and respond under pressure. Pressure can come from many forms: impending deadlines, impending death from war actions that need to be averted, or even just simple over-tasking. Keeping composure during these times will instill confidence in your subordinates that you will be able to aptly handle the situation at hand.
I was in JROTC for 4 years and in the Marine Corps for 5 years. You have to just remember that they are just looking for a reaction from you. When you dont give it to them they leave. That is the military summed up to you. Even if you are a fuck up just dont react.
During AIT,....we had Cadets from Westpoint. We were required to refer to them as either "drill-cadet", or "sir". They tried really hard to be hardasses, but they just couldn't pull it off. They just didn't have that level of "psycho" that the Drill Sergeants did !! LOL

Educate me please, I do not know what they're trying to do.
+bane They're teaching them the pressures of taking commands during combat, and to never question a commanding officers orders no matter how dumb they are (and the marine is just having a little fun doing it), just because it seems unorthodox and silly does not mean it's not an effective training method.
When our company had an inspection the guy inspecting us had a smile and talked kindly to everyone and was just an overall cool dude.😂
lol I would burst out laughing if I got inspected by these marines this is hilarious.
me too.
Fûck no you would shit your pants ha
lol what are they going to do beat me to death
Dylan Kneifl yeah thats exactly what they would do
Anthony sullivan lol ok
“PERMISSIONTOLOOKSIR”
“What?”
PERMISSIONN TOO LOOKSIR
“Speak English!”
PERMISSION TO LOOK SIR!
“Oh yeah go ahead.
Cadet: “GOOD DAY SIR!”
Marine Instructor: “Good day to you too X Æ A-12”

rashid karriem no you dew it...what are you sniffing crack?
LMFAO I see it
🤣🤣🤣🤣

"what is thiS?"
*looks to see what it is*
"DID I SAY LOOK AT MY FINGER?!"
*random guy enters the chat*
"DID HE SAY TO DO THAT?!"
He's probably trying so hard not to laugh lol
"Standing by? So you're NOT AT ATTENTION" 🤣🤣🤣
4:32 if i were there I would break from my straight face and burst out laughing
he was maintaining bearing
At a full field inspection my canteen had "Three drops of water in it." The Drill Sargeant called me on it and slammed it in my chest. The guy next to me was asked if there was any water in his canteen..."Yes Drill Sargeant! Approx. three drops Drill Sargeant!" I busted up laughing and Drill Sargeant Root got all upset at me again.
I laughed/smiled all the time on purpose. Drill Instructor wants to mess with me? Two can play this game.
I would have broke out laughing way before that
No..you wouldnt.

dont hate on my driving lmao Fallout Nv niggas
Damn that cadet closest to the camera did fantastic.
Most likely their CO since he said he's a major
not so much when he saluted the Sergeant.
+realbieped thats not so bad. it may look like the Marine was pissed but he was just teaching the proper etiquette to only salute an officer in a Marine way.
he redeemed himself intantly tho.
+Robby S This is true but I still think he did the best thing possible. He was holding his weapon in a "salute" when it was taken so, naturally he popped a salute.
“Cuz you’re shaking and I can’t figure out why”😂🤣
I bet afterwards they said “ they were really good actually “
If you've never had a pissed Marine sergeant in your face, you won't understand. 33 years ago on the 10th I stood on yellow footprints and had a whole nest of Marine DI's light into my ass. Best-worst day of my life. Made me a better man though I didn't know it at the time. Semper Fi.
I appreciate the man I know so yeah.
Thanks
Patrick Durham Better man in what?
ARokanten Huh?
"Made me a better man though I didn't know it at the time."
I fuckin love the Marines.
To all the special people saying the Marines are being idiots, they aren't. They are testing the Cadets Military Bearing by screaming and causing chaos around them to see how they respond. Well done Marines!
YESSS! thank you at least some agree with me.
ahahaha man how did those guys not laugh at the eye popping screamers lol
that's the entire point of what they're doing. part of discipline is not flinching, laughing, or otherwise reacting to the environment. you can't survive a firefight if you can't handle a couple guys yelling at you.
Source: 3 years senior ROTC
Earl, I am not familiar with what the purpose of the ROTC is. Care to enlighten me?
+Stexer to train cadets on becoming future military officers and leaders.
because in the marines they know their asses would be doing pushups until their arms fell off!
Stexer
he is probably a military wanna be, STOLEN VALOR
this is why you learn the rules so you dont get trolled
props to the marines tho very clever
xD CAN I SEE YOUR HAT!!!
beret(;
yeah i was tired and felt like saying hat instead xD
Josh the AK MAN it's referred to as a "cover"
MAY I TAKE YOUR HATE SIR?! MAY I TAKE YOUR HAT?!
These are high ranking cadet officers for crying out loud (first cadet was a Major) So there's zero tolerance towards these young men. They should be squared away from top to bottom. If these marines don't yell, the cadets won't take them seriously.
*exclude the "high ranking" got a C/2d Lt in there. Still, they're all cadet officers
Kedar Martinez They marines are seeing if they can handle pressure.
It's an inspection..........What branch of the military did you serve in again Carol?
lol. its a ROTC. probbably trying to earn their bravo zulu for a company wide inspection. lol..
2:03
"The marine commanding officer casually walk in."
He's messing up
Got his hands in pockets and his sleeves were rolled
Mmn. No JROTC branch is safe from this. I can confirm. But goddamn is it fun to watch.
Definitely. My NSI(naval science instructor) is ex marine and this is just reminding me of him yelling at us on pt days
I haven’t experienced this in my unit
It’s a meet
I don’t even have a jrotc structure in my school I wish we did this
"The lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuse his name"
3:00
“I LIKE IT”
“I LIKE IT”
I think this dude is enjoying himself.
Ofc he is🤣
Of course he is he’s messing with the chairforce
4:31 gets me every time XD
Ikr like his arms shake like noodles XD
"Is that what we do?!" 😂
He just had to get that out of his system 😂😂

ah yayayayayagayah
0:05 I feel like he starts a lot of bar fights
And doesn’t end well for him
Pirate: Are you ready kids?
JROTC Cadet: EYE EYE SIR!!!!!!
*Aye Aye
aye aye sir not eye navy and marines will chew you out for that
@@StoneColdElvisCat316 Libtard
it's funny, because if they decided to stay on that route, they will become actual officers in the military and then this people who were yelling at them will have to show them respect.
Ryan Cokus no one respects pog ass airforce officers
Rev_ Happy_ Why? Are you one? 🤔🤔🤔
TJ Haverland hell no. There's no way id join the chairforce. OORAHH!
They're JROTC not ROTC. They will not become officers, they will be eligible to skip one enlisted grade, that's it.
Im a jrotc cadet and I cried one time and I didn’t break bearing, I literally thought I was gonna die 😂
must be tough, I don't think many could handle it because of the Ego, which they have to get over, me included.
I would have laughed at you
I hate the broth program that be doing too much, talking to u crazy with attitude o heck no
I’m changing my schedule
Cringe.
LOL
