God can guide and strengthen us as we read, ponder, and study our patriarchal blessings and when we make and keep covenants with Him.

What if your patriarchal blessing describes a life that is entirely different from the one you end up with?
I’ve struggled experiencing a dissonance between who God sees me as / who he believes I can be and how I see myself / actually am right now. It’s been hard but I know he’s aware of me personally and can help me take the next step from where I’m actually at, not from where I was supposed to be. God always wants to help us right now wherever we’re at, even if we fall short of his grand vision for who we can become.
I don’t have a good answer to your question but I know our choices and circumstances beyond our control can affect our lives. The Lord is aware. In his time all blessings promised to us will be fulfilled as we trust in him and follow his counsel.
I think it’s important to remember that the main message of patriarchal blessings is that the Lord is aware of us and loves us deeply wherever we’re at.
Beautifully spoken.@@smile-bro
