What makes this even crazier is that Floyd was actually a pressure heavy style with elusive movement. But, because of his hand injuries he had to rework his whole entire style to his iconic Philly shell style we know him for. People forget Floyd used to actually fight back then.

Corrales went to jail after the match with Floyd. That might have been the reason why Corrales got disciplined enough to makes weight.

@nikushaa. 25 of his fights in nevada that's no world champion he was terrified to fight outside of the state let alone travel the world we can all win if we rig the game it's a pity because he is one of the most skilled boxers ever but failed to be great

If it wasn't for the brittle hands Floyd would of been a killer his whole career.... Ndannou was his best performance the amount of right hands and check left hooks he lands is a different level.

This version of Floyd was more athletic, explosive on offense but still very good defensively. Money May matured and became a fundamentalist never relying on his physical gifts like he did as PrettyBoy.

The fact that they used to try to paint him as arrogant when he literally used to cry after every win is insane

Mayweather was a very entertaining fighter….until he became “money Mayweather”… then his fights are like watching paint dry.

Old Floyd was still entertaining if you’re watching from his perspective and not wanting him to lose😂. Floyd Vs cotto and Guerrero were good fights

He was far better defensively when he was Money Mayweather. Could you see Money struggling against someone like Castillo?

He had to make the adjustment to be more of a defensive minded fighter to compensate for his hands getting more brittle over time
