Kendall danced her heart out in this dance. She gave it her all and she looked gorgeous the entire number. I'm happy she placed first - she definitely deserved it.

I honestly think season four was the peak for pretty much everyone. The dances from season four have some of the best choreography out of all of the seasons, and all the girls had so much passion when they danced. And then they moved to L.A. and their training suffered tremendously, and their fame skyrocketed, so I'm sure the stress did. If you look at the dances from season four, they seemed to love what they were doing, and a lot of the girls have kind of plateaued or regressed in their dancing. I miss season four, mainly because of the fact that the girls had a lot more passion and the choreography was at it's height.

This dance was actually made for kendall, not maddie, the producers just wanted more drama. On my opinion she danced with everything she got. But I did see that she had very few facial expressions, but idc she won first place and thats all that matters, she didnt suck she did great in this dance after all
+Emily Enchant The whole "pretty" theme does make it look like it was made for Kendall, not Maddie. (I'm just saying Kendall inherited the "pretty one" tv show role after Paige left.)
I think it WAS made for Maddie just based on Maddie's jealous look she gave right before Kendall went on stage

The reason Kendall is the dancer she is with not as good as technique is because Abby doesn't help her as much as Maddie and didn't when she was 9, 10, and 11. If she paid more attention to Kendall, she would be phenomenal!

I hated it when Christi was complaining that Chloe was an underdog because Kendall had a gorgeous costume and Chloe didn't. Um... Do I need to mention when Wreck It and Holla went head to head? It only matters when its not in Chloe's favor. Don't get me wrong, though, I love Chloe and Kendall, but Christi just over exaggerates too much.
I liked the holla dance, but wasn't it suppose to be fast but she couldnt do it fast?

I think that this is the best time I have ever seen her dance.I have been watching Kendall since the first solo that she did on Dance Moms.She did an amazing job.Her turns were spot on,her face matched the dance very well and she had her face the WHOLE DANCE!!!Also,her technique was the best I have ever seen it.GREAT AMAZING WONERFUL JOB KENALL!!!👌😘

no offense to all the kk fans reading this comment but this was honestly her peak. before you attack me, Go watch Kendall's most recent Lyrical solo and then tell me your opinions. I think she has regressed in her dancing because she lost all that passion she used to have, like when she danced in this. She was absolutely gorgeous with nice lines, good feet, great emotion, etc. I felt something watching, something i dont feel when i watch some of her recent dance solos. Again this is just an opinion don't say im wrong.
(Edit: Ik Kendall is better now and I actually like her! I wrote this a while ago.)

I am a kk fan but I agree! She has lost all the passion because something was wrong or something. It was probably because she thought/knew that Maddie was leaving or because Abby was pressuring her a lot. Whatever it was, she did loose her passion :(

Maddie is a very patient dancer who takes her time with every move and note of the music.
This is legit one of Kendall’s best solos if not the best. When I can’t stop rewatching a solo, I know it’s good. Because this was not good. It was AMAZING💖

am i the only one who almost didn't notice the scar cuz the times when the scar was facing the camera, she was always covering it with her hand or the mirror. the only times I saw it was when she was doing stuff towards us where I see it on the side of her face

I think that this dance means alot to kendall.She worked hard and she won...i am so proud of her for doing this and getting out on the stage and going 100% when she had a solo and a lead in the group dance.She is so strong in this style.

Honestly this is one of the very few numbers Kendall did and didn't look sloppy. Its a great number props to her!
Kendall has always been good, there are people who don't believe it, but I've always noticed something cute in this girl, that's why I had faith in her and made her a favorite, and once she's good at this, the song 🥺💖

This was labeled as a “maddie dance” which goes to show Maddie gets the good emotional pieces that I think Kendall needed more of because this was her best solo to me or at least one of her best.

you can really tell she put her all into this choreo. if she performed and got choreo like this against chloe she could definitely win, and maybe even against maddie. her feet, posture, and emotion were at it’s peak here.

You know, Kendall was never my absolute favorite but this is 100% my favorite solo. The music, the concept, the costume, the choreography and the performance just tie it together. I do wish she had a little more expression but I still love this solo more than any other

This WAS Maddie's Solo. But the dance never was on Lifetime. She still did good though. Her facial expressions are amazing too. Once in a episode Abby told Kendall give me a happy face, give me a sad face all those faces and she did it. But I have no idea why she doesn't use it on stage.. But it was still great to give her this Lyrical or Contempory piece.
+Alice A I feel like it wasn't a Maddie solo, mainly because the music didn't sound like something Abby would give Maddie. Maybe it was, and the choreography could have been altered slightly to fit Kendall's abilities and skills that she excels at.
And the facials. I'm not sure if you dance, but in my experience, it's actually kind of hard to dance and remember to use good facial expressions. You have to have the idea of using your face drilled into your head or you'll end up having a blank face. That might be why Kenzie only ever smiles in her performances. Changing facials, especially if you don't connect with the music, is difficult to do.
Like I said this WAS one of Maddie's Solo. The Producers just didn't show it for some reason. But, Abby of course did add a few of Kendall's great skills. And to answer your question. Yes, I dance. I use my Facial expressions pretty good. I personally connect with the music. Kenzie just dances what she listens.

It's because of the show. Every character as their genre that the audience can identify them with and also creates some variety for the show. Maddie, and Chloe were the lyrical girls, Kendall and Nia were the jazz girls, Mackenzie and Paige were the Jazz Acro girls and Brooke was the lyrical acro girl.

This is only my opinion but this really shows how well Kendall can dance. I just think Abby or some other people don't give her or some of the other girls enough credit for the effort they put into their passion which is dancing. {Please don't leave hate it's only my opinion thank you}
