"Very late to Castle" @15:30 in game time >_> I think my fastest Castle was 16 minutes and that was in the tutorial with zero player pressure Edit: also surprised you didn't put down a cheeky dock in late game to counter his treb push from the safety of your shoreline
This isn't a normal map, he had more sheep and hunt than a standard map so with the Briton sheep bonus he could've hit a faster time and should've beat Jordan to castle
I love watching your games and tournaments Viper! Well played, and have fun! I also liked your Onager "cage", brilliant! I may have to try it sometime. I'm fairly new to AoE2 (well, to any AoE at all) and just trying to soak up knowledge.
A forward castle can give an illusion of domination. If the opponent does not panic and booms behind while defending from further push then it is actually not as effective.
Yeah, that was pretty funny, imagine Viper saying, "come on in Jordan, I have ice cream for you, your favorite flavor too!" I remember another video by Viper playing another high level player and the other guy chatted saying "come on in, I have cookies", Viper said "no", other guy says "you like cookies", Viper responded "No I don't!" Pretty funny exchange.
34:35 I’ve been experiencing my mouse releasing a drag before I want it to as well in offline skirmishes. I thought it was my mouse until Viper just now said something. Smh. Must be mouse companies trying to sell more mice again.
It happens when the switch inside the mouse gets worn out, it also causes doubleclicking even though you only clicked once. Some companies use cheap switches that die pretty quickly, razer being one of them, they used to have high quality ones, but nowadays they're pretty shitty. my first razer deathadder lasted like 8 years, the 2 ones i got after that both lasted like 6 months at most, so i dont buy razer products anymore.
@@Sora_ksgn, good to know! Computer accessories are expensive enough in the first place. Cheaping out on components is a great way to chase customers away, especially once loyal customers!
If deer has an open path to its spawn point, it'll try to run back there. Even if it needs to run across the map, as far as I know, it'll make the trip. If you'd let it inside your base first, and then closed the door behind it, the deer would''ve looped around your base to go back to its spawn point, running through where your mill was... At least, that's the theory. In practice, you neverr really know for sure
Please less Megarandom maps - more Arabia, maybe Arena. I cannot really use it as educational content. Otherwise: Thanks a lot for your awesome videos! Big fan :-)
He has hundreds of videos with those maps you listed. Mega random is the gift that keeps on giving, or laming, you just don't know. That's the fun of it, you have to play strategic to the map sometimes.

"we don't need longbows here" I see

Britons / Huns classic matchup like the old days

He probably meant late with vills going to place tc's
@Ritesh Arora Malay can do a late 11 minute

Wololo.
Me: "Macro is overrated. You can just micro so that you never lose units."

Wtf how is he able to make so much paladins and afford to loose so much of them when he lost two TC and a lot of buildings early ?!
Huns

@@kavenram Right if you fast imp and build a trebuchet you can survive and win too
lol that trebuchet friendly fire :p nice random map ^^
I could watch Viper and JorDan play for hours
Lol Viper holding the gate open - Jordan no enter 😂
I did a double take on that scene. Priceless!
When someone holds a door open for a pro AOE player, they never go through.

I thought Joadn was laughing because you walled his villager in with your converted villager. XD
It was because he killed a bunch of his own longbows with the treb.
@TheViper
The mouse issue is commonly known as "Double Clicking"
warwolf helped a lot in that big fight
Viper is always at home with archer civs...😄😄👍

Just watched the DMWC
Guess the caster career is on hold, eh?
should have shifted to cav archers earlier along with paladins
cage between castles BIG BRAIN
While it lasted, it was brilliant! Protection from Paladins, and Onagers being too aggressive alone and occupying APM needing to be spent elsewhere.
I can say, Britons are invincible.
Nice thumbnail Viper. Hope u micro like AI longbowmen
I thought Jordan would win
oh hes spamming horses again! better swap every unit to pikeman!!!
Waller vs Civ picker
Viperhood
Arbalest, halberdier, champion are so good just spam and win.
