British created security nightmare through division of India. After the Invision of Tibet China became ambitious and working to control south and southeast Asia by controlling the water of Tibet and trade of Indian and pacific ocean and beyond. India and Taiwan both are main obstacles. All countries should cooperate on security and develop together like EU and join QUAD-Asian NATO against Chinese ambition to reduce defense budget.

The IAF ranking is quite interesting. The ranking compares other airforce to the USAF and come up with a TVR (true value ranking) number. So here is the ranking order.
    1. USAF (5209 aircraft with tvr 242.9)
    2. USNAVY (2626 aircraft with tvr 142.9)
    3. Russian airforce (3652 aircraft with tvr 114.2)
    4. US army aviation core (4397 airc4aft with tvr of 112.6)
    5. US Marine core (1211 aircraft with tvr 85.3)
    6. Indian airforce (1645 aircraft with tvr of 69.4)
    7. PLAF - Chinese airforce ( 2084 aircraft with tvr of 63.8)
Our airforce has a lower rating than the least powerful branch of US military. The Russian airforce is twice as powerful and the Chinese are only marginally less capable. Quite interesting how the top 5 out of 6 spots are held by US fleets. Just the army core of the US has 3 times more aircraft than our airforce has. The difference is ridiculously huge. The marine core has less number of aircraft but they are more capable as they have heavy lift capabilities along with stealth fighters. The same is most likely playing out between India and China. We are leading despite 25% lower inventory against China because of higher technology levels. Unfortunately we will be retiring over 200 mig-21s soon with not enough replacement. Our TVR will drop fast. This why industries should not be harassed by government. Decades of harassing has slowly wiped out indian companies and left only overseas holdings dominating the ecosystems.

1:22 India goes into Chinese territory on a regular basis as it's a disputed border. We patrol to the limit of our perception which is as often as happens the other way. What we don't do is squat there like when they come into our area which is the limit of their perception. Also, keep in mind these actions tend to be kept quiet as the opposition party will just use it to brand the govt as a warmonger. This creates the false impression that India is all goody goody

41:03 I can't find a source for 'a hundred' strategic oil reserves. News reports say we have just three, Which is under Phase I. Under Phase II we are supposed to add two more but that has not moved forward due to hurdles with land acquisition. This means presently we have a max 9.5 days reserve. Had Phase II been completed we would have added an additional 12 days.

I listened to this program quite eagerly as I wanted to understand how India would handle a war with China. Unfortunately, Sumeet is offering opinions (which is perfectly acceptable), but states them as facts. Unfortunately, many of his statements are just wrong.
    Just a few examples................
5:30 - Displacement of 80 Mega Tonnes? That would be bigger than all the military ships in the world COMBINED. It is unlikely to reach even 80 Kilo Tonnes. This is probably a slip of the tongue except that the rest of this interview is filled with such errors.
6:00 - Not a single country has agreed to buy the Tejas as of May 2023. In 2015, Ecuador cancelled all deliveries of Dhruv helicopter. Just a reality check. Also, Tejas (which India developed with a lot of French help) has a number of foreign components. In fact, India cannot export the current version of Tejas as it has an ejection seat made in UK.
10:50 - Russia has informed India that future shipments of S-400 will be delayed. By the way, China already has already deployed the S-400 system.
12:30 - Su-MKI has a large radar cross-section. It is for this reason that it was not used in Balakot strikes. Also, the Su-MKIs did not engage the Pakistani aircraft (F-16s) in the subsequent air exchange as range of its R-77s were less than the AMRAAMs. Why would you send a MIG 21 to go up against an F-16?
13:05 - Ever since the first Gulf war, China has made a concerted effort to reduce the number of army personnel and be technology-centric. It does not really matter whether India has the largest standing army.
16:51 Akash has a range of 25 km, not 2000 km. A range of 25 km is useful only against rockets/shells. You would not need a missile with a range of 2000 km as a part of a missile shield.
17:40 The US designed and built the F-22 completely independently. So, it does not export the F-22 to any NATO country or even Israel. It will not allow the export of the F-22 engine to Tejas. The Tejas uses a much older GE engine.
18:10 JF-17 has refueling capability. To say otherwise is simply wrong.
18:40 China has a few dozen refueling tankers, not 2
    18:45 JF-17 has a radar than has a range of 150 km
19:28 India exited the Su-57 in 2019. The engine, RCS, radar and stealth capabilities of the Su-57 were so inferior that India decided to leave the program
20:05 In 2019, India's Dhruv LCH performed so poorly that Ecuador cancelled the contract. According to Jane's (Indian military reports third ALH crash of 2023), a 3rd Indian ALH has crashed in 2023.
20:30 India's record with operating submarine has been mixed. India's INS Arihant, an SSBN leased from Russia submerged with a hatch open rendering it operationally useless for more than a year. This is about the stupidest blunder that a submarine can make.
Indian military reports third ALH crash of 2023
An Indian Army Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv helicopter has crashed....

  • @samrat55934
    @samrat55934 Год назад +1

What the hell is Sumit Peer talking about ? The submarine contract is nowhere close to be finalized, the MRFA has not been finalized, the LCA program is running with delays, out of 17 countries that have expressed interest in the LCA not one contract has been signed, there has been nothing done to replace the Mig29 , there is NO PLAN yet to replace the Jaguars which are quickly approaching retirement, India is still flying the 40 year old MIG21 , because HAL cannot produce the TEJAS fast enough. The MK1 is delayed, the MK2 is delayed, the AMCA is delayed . So what is Mr Peer talking about ? He should stop building castles in the air . He knows nothing about weapon systems and yet he is out here offering expertise.
IAF is concerned if the aircrafts don’t come fast enough they will not be able to even maintain 30 squadrons . Does Mr Peer know how many combat aircrafts China has and how it has a dedicated rocket force ? Does Mr Peer know how mNy nuclear and conventional subs China has ? This is just ridiculous feel good commentary with no substance
This is the equivalent of the Lahori Chooran that pakis sell
Mr Peer talks about Indian Missiles which is fine , but he should also know that China has a very advanced air defense system
Mr Peer is completely wrong about LCA engines. The engines used on LCA are GE F404 engines , the F22 raptor uses Pratt and Whitney PW5000 engines .
The MK2 however is stated to used the GE414 engines which is used on the F18 Super Hornets
The LCA NAVY is a texh demonstrator which has been rejected by the navy is a building block towards the TEDBF
Talking about Dhanush , the army just has received 6 systems so in order to really make a dent it needs it in the thousands.
    JEEZ

Very glad to hear this gentleman gddive an excellent overview of India’s Armaments & their capabilities- India can therefore be self reliant in the expected likely event of an invasion by China from the Tibetan Himalayas. This will happen shortly since China has come to the conclusion that it will NOT overtake the U.S. economically or militariLy
So to show the world how powerful they are, they will use weaker India to “teach a lesson”. As a fallback India needs to enter a military pact with the U.S. for arming India “gratis” with latest weapons - within 2,years to counter Chinese attach. This is future Insurance for the U.S., because if India is subdued then Continental USA cities will then be bombed by China- something Americans are not used to.

India and the world need to call China about Tibet.
Tibet was illegally occupied Tibet on ground of Suzerainty. After occupying Tibet China enslaved the Tibetans psychologically and even physically. We are watching the next level of enslavement in Xinziang.
In that case India can also claim the same status over some of its neighbors.
We have to assert that Tibet is an occupied territory.

in 1971,we stopped immediately after the pak forces surrendered ,, because there was tremondous pressure from Soviets and approaching 7th fleet , and in Kargil after the aggression was cleared, because of insistent pressure from Americans.

K3 missiles? It's the K4 and barely inducted and has a range of 3500km. A great weapon that should be canister mounted on trucks because of powered flight to the end with maneuvering ability and also better than ballistic missiles due to this capacity. Agni 5 cannot fit into Indian submarines. Tejas is a very limited jet due to limited range.

At the outset, very good facts and analysis. This government deserves credit for our defence advances today. I do agree with Sumit ji for the most part. However, the contention that we can sustain a full blown war with China today without any help is tough to accept. One thing which China has and India does not is better economy and technology. China is number one in the world in AI. Well, if we progress the way we are doing today foe the next decade, we will have no cause to worry. The question is, Can we progress consistently? Time will tell. Nevertheless, three cheers for the wonderful episode.

I have a question for both of you.
Why can there be a Quad like Military based organization between all those 17 countries which has border issue with China.
India can sipply Brahmos to all these countries.
Then start minor skirmishes on all these boundaries.
Meep Chin busy and indulged in all these fronts.
Decide among themselves and ad per strength of that coyntry and vulnurability of China on that front that country yo go zll out and take back tha disputed area from China and wven sone area of China. If China tries to attack that country in a fullfledged war all countries shokd open their birders and attach China and take back their territory from China.

Summer Sir, Sri Sir. We also need to work on infowar or propaganda war. We are nowhere close to Chinese. We need our young folks to get into Chinese households. I know it's gonna be difficult, with China, blocking all social media platforms, we still need to find a way.

Actually Bhutan is the great friend but first time hi includes China and in Bhutan China have made basis some official so report about doklam. Ladakh 26 points under control of China this is official report shared by the one army had in one of the meeting in the pmo. This is all in records aur anyone can check it. Is everything is symbolic? 🤔
