Glad to hear you and they enjoyed it! I have another going the southbound that I’ll post soon...and there are tunnels south of Pacifica and in East Bay to visit later.
I like this city, San Francisco is a wonderful city with lots of interesting places to see like The Golden Gate Bridge, The Palace of Fine Arts Museum, Pier 39, and Fisherman's Wharf.
Really nice camera work. As expensive as it is to live in SF I understand why people love it here. It's beautiful. Hopefully some day I'll get to visit and drive this highway.
Awesome I drove across this bridge in Watch Dogs 2 since the game takes place in San Francisco and driving across the Golden Gate Bridge in the game was awesome
One of the one things I wanted to do again before I die was to cross the GGB again; I did it once on way to see an old girlfriend in the San Joaquin Valley when I was 17; but now I am 55, legally blind, and can no longer drive again. Makes me very heartbroken by the things I truly miss in life.
Sorry to hear, but as a biker I'd recommend reliving that on the back of a motorbike. Thankfully been across the GGB to Muir Wood and walked a bit of the bridge another time. Love the City and surrounding area, been four times from Ireland as the good lady hails from Alameda, East Bay
Nice! Thanks for sharing. I cross the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan twice a year. It's about 3 miles longer but not quite as high. (Or wide?) I'd never cross it during a snow storm. Those that do are crazy, lol.
The Mackinac is 5 miles long compared to GGB's 1.7 mi and you're right the Golden Gate has six lanes width to Mackinac's four. What I like about the Mackinac is how it stands so clearly out from the land, simple design, but just impressive in presence.
Interesting point. Are you saying any lane change against a curve is potentially unsafe or is there something about this particular location that increases the danger?
a) Sorry, but US cars are super ugly. What gives? They all look the same ugly style. At least the ones I see on this video. b) I was not expecting the kind of bitumen road patching on the bridge but I should have expected it obviously c) If you can ignore a) and b) it is really on of the nicest bridges in the world.
Looks so overrated, I was thinking about traveling there but after see this, hmm neh. Been hearing from so many people there that San Francisco has been getting really bad also. I think I'll go to Seattle.
One of my toddlers favorite things is driving through those tunnels before and after the bridge. They loved watching this as we are stuck at home.

What kind of weird spam is this. Stop pretending to have a conversation between each other in a random thread.
First I've seen it so reported/removed it. Welcome to the big leagues of RUclips I guess

Wonderful sharing 🤩👍
Thanks, glad you liked it!
I used to drive and cycle this bridge so many times when I was staying at my grandmas around 10 years ago. I miss it a lot.

Pretty when you can’t see the homeless, crime, poop on the street.
So beautiful.
