Hey I tried creating the same photo frame but there are lots of minute bunch of bubbles created at a later stage of curing process. How do I avoid that. Also the finished texture is not smooth and shiny. The texture is quite Wavy. Is it bcz of heat gun that we use to pop bubbles?

It is recommended to use a respiratory mask if there is a regular usage of resin.
U used 3:1 ratio, it means we are not suppose to use 2:1 resin for frames?
Using 3:1 doesn't imply that you can not use 2:1, you should be knowing the proper properties of resin to choose best for your specific art work.
What ratio and which resin you have used n plz tell how much hardner n resin you have used .. n how u cakcukated it.. it would be a great help from u

Can excess amount of colour make my resin sticky?
Yes excess pigment can make resin sticky, do not mix pigment more than 5% of your resin quantity!
Other reason which make resin sticky:-
- Fault in Ratio
- improper Mixing of Resin and hardener
- Rainy weather

You can use normal photocopy print and it is recommended to laminate it and then use.
After using isopropyl alcohol to remove air bubbles....can we pour the resin over it?....Is it safe?

Iss blow torch and heat gun works same for pooping bubbles
Heat gun is to create waves and blow torch is to pop the bubbles in resin.

-Foggy effect due to moisture
- Delay cure then required time
Precautions:
- Avoid doing work with resin ,the day it rains heavily
- you can sand the layer and make a clear coat again for foggy effect
-and for delay cure, wait till the layer cures (may take 48 hours even)
-keep your artwork in a direct orange light (bulb or lamp) (so it produce heat )
