I have been delaying a collection video for a while as I live in a small bungalow with zero spare rooms and a child who loves to open everything hot wheels related (He usually wins and we end up opening alot but its all good fun😂) so my collection has mostly been in tubs and hidden away but I have been working on a wall display and have some new space, so as soon as its all looking good I will be filming it! Appreciate your input mate great to know people want to see the collection!
Another great video mate, there does seem to be a lot of older cases about with a sprinkling of M&N case , do love that small bloc though!! Really need the 2024 P case to hit the stores in our area, there are some awesome cars in there 😎
You need to start using a basket or somthing as your "maybe pile" it may not have happened to you yet but eventually some cheeky sod will just grab a treasure hunt or somthing else thats highly desired from under your nose lol im no scalper but some people are and have zero shame. I dont really have that problem where im at as my selection is so small i can usually hold all the cars i want in my hand.
You couldn't be more right mate it happened to me in a Poundland I found the red VW Beetle TH last year and I popped it to one side the guy next to me saw this and grabbed it up without saying a word and walked off 😅 luckily there were 3 more in the pegs so I managed to grab one for myself. I do sometimes get a basket but my mind is usually elsewhere thanks for the advise I should take it more often 🙌 What sort of castings are you collecting at the moment?
@@TheWheelCollector At the moment im just grabbing anything i like the look of with a focus on 2024 releases, Being basically brand new to collecting them i guess im in the "honemoon" period where theres still huge amounts of mainline and popular cars i havent got in my collection. Most of what i pick up is muscle cars classic cars and or cars i grew up with tho. Spiced in with the odd fantasy casting that i think looks neat or reminds me of somthing else. I havent had a treasure hunt or similar find dissapear in such a manner just yet but i have experienced what i describe in just about every other collecting hobby i've been in. Closest i've come yet with hotwheels was putting back the gold fiat modificado 500 i think? that was a sth.. but i didnt know it at the time. Stuffed it away round the back of the box. Went back a few hours later after reaising it was a sth and someone had unfortunately actually checked back there and bought it rip lol
Great hunt mate! Just went out hunting yesterday and found some 56th anniversary Hot wheels castings. Picked up everything, except the Tooned Twin Mill. Still looking for the Dodge van.
My Smyths had a couple decent mainlines today I wanted, but if I ever see another F&F premium, it'll be too soon. Get the newer Boulevards in lads, I'd actually buy a couple of those!
Bet it gave you some extra BHP that mate!😆I drove the original shape Clio in my driving lessons, on the day of my test the instructor turned up with a brand new shaped Clio he had just bought... 🤣
@@TheWheelCollector my first car was the MK2 1.2 Clio in maroon. Ugliest car you will ever see. So naturally I dropped it, put alloys and a huge back box on it with a subwoofer and 6x9s in the parcel shelf. They say you should never polish a turd but mine was ✨

I hope you leaned your chair as far back as you possibly could without loosing sight of the road🤣🤣🤣 My first car was a 2002 Citroen Saxo - Forte a few months in my exhaust fell off, a few months later my electrics were failing, after a year I finished work walked to my car got in turned the key in the ignition it kangarooed and my clutch got sucked into the floor.... I looked outside and on the carpark my engine was there in bits the engine mountings had rusted off 🤣
@@TheWheelCollector I was jealous of the Saxo lads. My best mate and his twin had a red and green 1.4 Saxo. No VTR or VRS but they could certainly shift compactor my humble car.
Serious, I went I Aldi other day and sth was just sat on the top of the pile it must literally of been put out by a member of staff who doesn’t have a clue
I did have this happen to me in a smyths in Bolton the manager came over while i was going through the pegs he told me theres another guy who comes in and the manager puts cars to one side for him. So I knew I wasn't finding anything exciting that day.

Only started this year really so building up the 2024 range, love older cars, and hot rods, factory fresh and compact King's I love, really want the rs2000 sth that would be life changing finding that on a peg😂, love your videos I've learned loads from them, keep it up
If you check store policy,most say that employees have no right over normal customers,everything should go on the pegs & if the item is still there when they finish their day/shift then they can buy
Yeah if they do listen to that rule if it’s true , they will hide them somewhere in the store .. a super won’t last 2 mins on a shelf with people looking . I found my first sth other day

I'm always hunting ford escorts as that's all I collect. As you can imagine it's a struggle but I do find the odd one but no supers

Not all Hot Wheels are nice, but I guess that is the charm in collecting them, they have variety, so there is something for everyone!

Same in the Smyth's near me. I speak to the manager & he collects himself,so nothing decent really is ever on the pegs.
I did have this happen to me in a smyths in Bolton the manager came over while i was going through the pegs he told me theres another guy who comes in and the manager puts cars to one side for him. So I knew I wasn't finding anything exciting that day.
