Hi guys, I will never ask you to text or Whatsapp me for anything. If you see any such comment, even with the picture being mine, offering you guides and numbers to call or whatsapp, kindly ignore and report that comment. It is scammers and bots trying to get to some of you. The right channels to reach me are always linked in the description box, that is, my website and email address.
I lost my job in 2020, and for a moment, I thought I was gonna die. 3 years later, I can say that job loss was a need because it woke up, and since then, I have become more aggressive. I learned to put myself out there and swim in the ocean even if I couldn't swim.
I had put my job first , imagine even coming in at 6:30 and leaving at 8:00pm yet no one even asked me to do it …I lost the job in December 2022 with all the hard work I also couldn’t leave the house for like a month. I enrolled for an advanced learning program in my area of expertise . I volunteered to help a director who had a startup unfortunately he didn’t get back to me, applied for jobs … I either got no response or regret ..it was tough few weeks but God renewed my strength and restored me 😅
Hi Coach Susan. A very educative and encouraging channel. I was in Banking in fact a Branch and lost my job in 2019. I was clueless when I ventured out and went about losing money in badly thought-out businesses. I applied for jobs, that was before covid and suffered rejection in about the three interviews I participated in. This experience coupled with the manner my exit from the bank was handled, led to my sinking into depression. I thank God, I have traveled the road to recovery and have started a program to do financial education for clients. Can you really assist me to figure out how to effectively create content and package pieces of training? thank you for the work you are doing.
I can also say incorporating talents and gifts to make a living comes in handy in tough times... personally I have been surviving with selling crocheting and actually I have inspired some people thus opened a channel to upload free tutorials 😍
As Kevin O'Leary (Shark Tank) says: "A salary is the drug they give you for you to forget your dreams". Susan you're a living legend of "been there seen that' on the area of personal finance and career, and you've been so INSPIRATIONAL, thank you for sharing. It's a farmiliar "storyline" for many young Kenyans today; experienced it too but I had just quit on my own, without a plan. Then later figured out.
Totally agree about pivoting!!! I didn't lose my job though, I made the decision to quit. I did electrical engineering (graduated in 2016), pivoted into virtual assistance in 2017, and now do podcast management and coaching. I coach aspiring women virtual assistants. Quitting employment was one of the best decisions I ever made.
You are a gem. I lost my job at 25 and was thinking of doing online writing but the challenge by then was that I didnt have a laptop. In the midst of sourcing for a laptop and applying for other jobs, I got another job offer first before the laptop and so I took the job. Let me tell you I prioritized buying myself a laptop just in case I😂. I haven’t used it for online writing since I still have a job but I know at least I won’t start from zero like last time when I didn’t have a laptop. And for sure, you never die from job loss. I thought I’d die. Yes it’s very depressing but in the end, it all works out according to God’s plan
My hubby lost his job in 2021 weuh it was hectic and as you have said we must hope for the best but also plan for the worse coz we!!!we learnt alot of things that time en now we are proud of the progress.great content
Thank you so much for your shared tips in overcoming the challenges that comes with job loss. I lost mine in April this year and all what you shared really matched what I have gone and going through but you have motivated me to look deeper beyond job searches and put more efforts into my natural gift. Thanks so much again for your time.
I was let go of my job in 2021. I should have prioritized my career too instead putting all my effort to the job. The company is loyal to itself not you
Thanks for sharing. The company you are sharing seems to be a company I worked for as well. We were so comfortable there with the long working working.
woow,, i i wish i saw this earlier. Actually it was exactly the day i lost my job and still figuring out what to do with this life. I feel encouraged though. good piece there.
I once lost a job, hustled for 2 years, finally got my foot. I finally got a job, I worked on a my skills, it has made a career and side incomes. Your own skills are what matters, that you can earn on your own. Employers value what you bring into their credit not you.
I have watched your content i relate with you totally i have always had a natural gifting of talking amd i have a channel too ..i want to remain consistent and do what i love
I really love your content. It's always so informative. You always talk about investing, savings, emergency fund. My question is for someone earning 4500 weekly, bcoz that's what I get. How do I even save. Am a single mum. Fees, rent, transport, food. Any helpful tips
Save a little and join chamas And think of another stream of earning Like u can make snacks and sell at work if they allow I knew someone who would carry cupcakes that she bought on the cheap..to work to sell That took care of her transport
Hi Susan thank you for the talk it has really encourage me. I also lost my job in 2017 until now am still hustling. kindly advise on the best websites for on line jobs.
Thank you sister Susan for opening my eyes. I haven't lost my job yet but I'm inspired to think of other ideas of creating something that I can fall back on or rather increase my streams of income
Wow this is me right now. I lost my job last year a week after I got an accident and Brock my ankle bone I don't even know where I will start but am very hopeful once I get better I will put myself out there to start all over again

I need the push to leave my employer. My spirit isn’t content there but I’m horribly afraid to lose the safety net of a regular check.
