    It s even more than a rat race. It s modern slavery. I am really at the end of my tether right now. This kind of work is so gruelling that the only will I have is to fall asleep when I am back.

    Define purpose. Basically you don't take pride in what you're doing because it is not your company. You are serving their purpose. It would seem that you need your own company to serve your purpose.

    • @MultipleCareers
      @MultipleCareers  8 месяцев назад +2

      I define purpose as the reason one does something, the end of the means. You sell insurance policies at a company, why? Is your purpose to get rich, to tell yourself you're helping people, or perhaps, is there no purpose at all? You're right, in most cases, if you've defined a specific purpose and want to achieve it, you need to start your own endeavour.

      I could sit at job working 12 hours making big money, but what's the point in that when you have absolutely nothing to buy? Or the very least you have no time to spend that money on let's say nice adventures! When you have your vacation, it's barely enough to get your lost power back. We are not powerbanks or robots, they should stop consuming us with long hours.
      No one wants to retire so tired, that they are barely alive. When you need less, you can live more. I can live under 750 euros a month luxuriosly. No point to work for more money.

      I hope I understand your question correctly; I think that most women do not solely assess the absolute assets a man has, but rather the potential, determination, and ambition the person shows. If you can work on that, then I believe you'll find someone who appreciates those valuable traits.

    If you are not passionate about what you are doing, you will feel like a rat like in a rat race.
    That's all there is.

      Endless working hours, e.g. 9-9 or 9-11 is an indicator of being in the rat race. But someone could be working 9-5 and still in the rat race if the job is meaningless to the person.

    The only way I see it to escape the rat race is working remotely, preferably as a programmer or graphic designer and for the last talent u always have the only fans route to go to 😅

      Those are some great ways (except for the of that I'll strongly discourage but I guess it was a joke! lol). The important thing is to build up a career freedom fund (like an emergency fund that gives you freedom to pivot in your career and buys you time) and alternative income sources so you don't have to stay in the rat race. The ultimate way is of course, achieving FIRE.
