just starting with plasticity and this is perfect - many thanks for sharing your knowledge i particularly like the way you don't get bogged down in dimensions at this stage - plenty of time for that later when i have the basics down; thanks again ♥
Great video. I am looking onto purchasing plasticity. Your channel is one of th best tutorial channels I have seen. Not too fast to learn and they are practical. Thank you for your vids!
Thank you for your effort Nikita in putting together this class. I have been using Plasticity for more than a year now, but I would still like to go through this tutorial. I am sure I can learn something new :)
Great video! Question when I try to zoom in very close to a specific part like you the camera seems to cut through part the object making it slightly invisible. Kind of like in blender when you change the camera clipping level to something smaller. Any ideas how to do this?
Hi Hector, I can add Spanish subtitles to my courses. Just write me an email to nikita@nikitakapustin.com after you made the purchase and let me know for which courses you need Spanish subtitles. I will add them within 24-48hours
It's so helpful brother, thank you so much. I have a question, I use the program in pc, no digital pen, so, when I have 3D viewer and then click to 2D, I can't back to 3D😥, and I can't either move the 3D viewer like you to see the object in any angle, what can I do? Big hug from Spain✌
Go in the PLasticity windows top left -> preferences -> navigation -> navigation presets -> try a different one and use middle mouse button or ALT + click for rotating...
Hello, thanks for the lesson, I did all this in a video, I'm trying to find some courses or tutorials where plasticity can be used for modeling using engineering or not-quite-engineering drawings, I want to make a sink model for a technical assignment, but I can't find tutorials about it. Everyone mostly uses references and does everything by eye, approximately or visually.
For some reason i cannot select my model's points anymore. I restarted the program many times as I read some have said that it is a bug, but i still cannot select my models points anymore. Any suggestions what i might have missed?
Thank you for the good video. It was very helpful. However, when I changed to Maya settings, I could move freely, such as front view, top view, and right view, by clicking the middle mouse button and turning it, but that function became unusable. What should I do in Maya Settings?
ALL of these beginners guides are not really for absolute beginners because EVERY SINGLE ONE skips important information. This video starts out with a nice clean slate. But that is NOT how Plasticity starts. There is a GIGANTIC 62 THOUSAND inch box on the screen at startup. Why? How do I scale that down to something that will fit into my 3d printer??? How do I make the entire work area 10 x 10 so that I can make something that I can actually print? Setting the grid size does nothing to fix the work area size. If I make a box or a circle that is big enough to see it is HUNDREDS of inches in size. What am I supposed to do with that? My 3D printing journey is off to a bumpy start.
@ I watched it and seem to be getting on just fine with it. Maybe you’re just a tad slow? Either way, try the instruction manual, maybe it shows more didactic promise for you.

Thank you for your time and the tutorial. Don`t rush we want to learn.

Hi Nikita, do your paid courses include Spanish subtitles?.
Greetings from Chile.
Hi Hector,
I can add Spanish subtitles to my courses. Just write me an email to nikita@nikitakapustin.com after you made the purchase and let me know for which courses you need Spanish subtitles. I will add them within 24-48hours

I (Individual)
Once the free version has expired, can we reinstall it after formatting the drive c and reinstalling new windows?
No

@@Satysatonachair You're right, what was I thinking when I clicked on the tutorial video, that it might actually be a tutorial, how dumb of me.
