There is so much truth in your video - we can all recognise ourselves. For example, I would much rather work with animals (or at least be near them) than with people. Sometimes I just dream of cleaning up the environment, raking leaves, planting flowers, cleaning cages, in a zoo, but not working with people. That's the weird side of me.😄
I can relate to dreading certain tasks at work - and avoiding them as much as possible - in case I am 'found out'. I'm guessing this might also be connected with 'impostor syndrome'
Lmfaooooo that masking scène at the beginning hahaha 😂😂😂 I couldn't stop laughing. Such an amazing video! You explain everything so good. Hope life treats you well sweetheart ❤️
Hello Soaphy! Hahaha I laughed too very hard when I was watching it :D Thank you so much! Yeah I m okay, been quite busy lately with life :) Hope you are doing fine yourself too sweetie!
Great video. I did 10 years as a self employed project manager and I managed to do it well but it drained the life out of me until an almost full on depressive episode. After that I walked away and went back to my passion which is engineering but hands on. What a difference. I have to tell Myself to stop as it’s my hobby and my business. Only been diagnosed a few weeks and start meds next week. I will be now getting help with things I struggle to do and focus on what I do well instead of beating myself up over failing them.
Thank you! :) That is awesome that you can make a living with your passion, its truly a gift. Mental health is more important than a big paycheck in my opinion. I cannot imagine how being project manager was like... Good luck to you! :)
@@ADHDPatrick Thanks Patrick, the project management took all the things I struggle with and rolled them into place haha. Glad I noticed in the end. Started Concerta 3 days ago and I am blown away with how I feel. Instead of insanely happy and hyper or very angry I now feel more peace and the noise in my head has reduced drastically. Had no idea how hard it was until I started taking steps to change it. Love your straight to the point videos and have inspired me that maybe I need to share my journey to help others also.
I think you suffer very much like myself. Masking and not wanting to reveal as I wanted to look normal, while I'd think to myself as not normal and some kind of social/human anomoly. Yip sooner or later we'll crash or take a 'burnout' as I refer to it.

So good. Nice perspective that is useful for me and others I'd assume. I'm sending this link to an ADHD Coach from FLORIDA.
Thank you Donald :)
